33. Britney Spears has it within her power to end ALL of this. she has only to voluntarily give custody to Federline and get herself some help. She can apply for joint custody again when she can show that she has completed treatment and is stable enough to parent her children without endangering herself or them. What is keeping this story going is the fact that she is contesting custody but is clearly unable to parent her children at this time. That is why there are multiple court hearings. She is the one suing to overturn the orders of the Court.

40. Mia and your point about Alec Baldwin just made mine. It was barely covered, and we all moved on from it rather quickly.

That was exactly my point. Sure it happens, it has to David Hasselhoff even, but it lasted a week! A WEEK! And life moved on, and we all moved on.

Did Brittney call her kid a PIG? Did she get drunk and start slamming a hamburger into her face with it falling from her mouth while mumbling? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

So why not give it the 30 seconds of attention whatever on earth she did requires and MOVE ON!

This is about nothing more than bashing FEMALES IN HOLLYWOOD. This has gone on since the days of Marilyn Monroe and never seems to stop.

43. I'm too old to be a fan, but what I am is sick and tired of what I'm seeing happening on TV and in the media.

I didn't invest hundreds of hours into this, I have lived long enough to know that life has it's UPS and DOWNS for us all.

Most of us get to endure the difficulties in private and if there was even a shred of child abuse or serious supposed mental instability, there would be action taken. Why hasn't there been? BECAUSE THERE IS NO REASON TO.

If you could even for one second take yourself out of your little mental cacoon and put yourself into the shoes of a person who is hunted, taunted and chased wherever she goes for even one second, can you then imagine that maybe it's not always FUN? That maybe being a singer and following your dream to entertain got you more than you bargained for?

Perhaps what it is that I can do, that you cannot, it put myself into someone elses shoes. I can also realize when the media is putting spin on things, when it is saying more than it should and less than it should in order to suggest something that isn't there!

This is why I am taking my time to put my thoughts and feelings out there tonight. If I can make one person realize that this is all spin and is common for the media to do to women in hollywood, maybe this might bring change!

This type of bashing of women effects us all! It affects how we feel about ourselves, how we view other women and what society thinks is OK. None of this is OK.
