LAPD Brass to Cops: You Aren't the Paparazzi!

TMZ has learned that a message was sent down loud and clear today to LAPD cops working the Britney court beat -- no photos allowed!
Britney Spears
Law enforcement sources confirm to TMZ that an order came down to officers at the courthouse today, mandating that no cell phone photos or video of the popwreck or the ensuing chaos be taken. This command is a direct result, we're told, of reports that last week during Britney's meltdown at her home, several members of law enforcement were seen snapping pics.

63. CaliCath, that wasn't Brit smiling and being nice. That was the day she forgot her panties, but call it a smile if you will, and some would even say it was nice. You sure seem to think so.

64. Britneys behavior has been analyzed over and over, and who the hell really knows what makes her tick, I don't nor do I care. However, I do care that our tax money is being wasted on our civil servants being used as personal handlers and assistants for Ms. Spears. She is a star, and she should be 100% financially responsible for her own drivers and bodyguards. Guess what, for her it is a legitimate cost of doing business, a big fat business expense. Every other celebrity has them, so can she. It is not acceptable at all for police officers in the line of duty to snap pictures of her for personal use. Any pictures taken while in the line of duty should be police department private property. They are there to protect and serve, not to exploit and terrorize someone who could be mentally ill. As or the paparazzi, the manner in which they swarm dogpile on Britney and her vehicle should be illegal. It is dangerous to Britney, other photographers, as well as any unlucky schmuck who happens to be at the same place.

65. CaliCath:

Do yourself a favor and look at the photos from the night they 5150'ed her. She was smiling at the cameras. SMILING, It's all to boost her ego and to allow her to perpetuate her indulgence in herself. Every bit of it. As far as being followed by the press; she actually calls them and tells them ahead of time and lets them know where she will be. And now that she has a boyfriend of the same ilk, betting he calls them, too.

Those poor little boys to have been exposed to all that.

66. Hey Wake Up, you need to wake up or go back to sleep for a few before you decide to post a comment that reads like that!

67. I'll take it one step further and say that I despise that she used those children as props to get attention. I dare anyone to contradict that.

68. Britney should offer to sign over all parental rights to K-Fed and see how fast he offers joint custody. No parental rights means no child support required.

69. Any policeman, firefighter, EMT, doctor, etc. who took pictures of Britney on the night of her breakdown should be ashamed of themselves. These are the people we trust to care for us in the most desperate and difficult times in our lives. How dare they violate that sacred trust and do something so disgusting to make a buck.

70. While I wait for a response. How about all the failed rehabs? How about the head shaving event where she then went out and went ballistic on a car with an umbrella? How about her driving without a seatbelt with her infant son in the front seat? How about the stumbling, too horrible to think about performance she did on the awards show. How about her inability to follow through with any of the court ordered mandates- even when they were spelled out to her to the letter? How about all of her family saying she is going down the tubes and needs help? How about her checking out of Ceders against medical advice? How about driving away all of her family, legal team, friends, and confidants? I could go on and on, but I will stop here for simple brevity's sake. The rest of the world wants her to get help, so why not you? It makes zero sense whatsoever for her not to get help, yet you still foolishly cling to the idea that nothing is wrong.

72. Bullcrap, don't even try to take credit for something you had nothing to do with! You are the ignorant one here and quit trying to confuse the issue! You are the one who needs help!
