21. Laurie, As I have aged and my hair has gotten greyer and being a blonde, that means whiter, I have lightened my dye jobs to lighter blondes so the roots aren't as much of a contrast as they would be if I dyed my hair darker.
As for Stephanies red hair, I think she looks great for her age. Also, she was always a redhead, her hair was a red/brown, but never just brunette that I was aware of. She also probably lightened her shade for the same reason I did.
