Witnesses Take Stand in Brit Custody Hearing

Brit's still a no-show, but today's custody hearing is continuing as scheduled, having just broken for lunch.

A group of LAPD officers, firefighters and paramedics who were on scene at Brit's Ranchita Popwreck breakdown on the January 4 are expected to testify today. A male LAPD officer, who was one of the first responders to Brit's house that night, just finished testifying.

K-Fed and attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan are in the building, Britney hasn't even left her house. Today's hearing is considered Britney's last chance to get any custody back -- if she doesn't show, it could be over for her visitation until at least April.

76. this bitch aint gonna show. i really feel bad for her but she has got to do something to help herself. and until she starts putting the kids needs/feelings ahead of her own, she shouldnt have any type of unsupervised visitation much less custody. mental illness or not, she has start helping herself.

77. It is all just so sad. Two beautiful boys who do not have a solid mother in their lives. She never got an education, life was too easy, we all have to pay our dues one way or the other. I just hope she will eventually be ok.

I really really hope lil mama shows up...I don't believe she has a bi-polar disorder at all, I thought so from the minuet she did the Matt Lauer (however you spell his name) interview, that she is going through p.p.depression. What did she think Kevin left Shar for? Too many daggone kids than Britney gose & has another he thought he was set poor boy...she files for divorce because she couldn't hangout with him anymore..than she partied like she thought she was a rock star but blew all that when she showed her couchie, we all know that ish had to embarrass her.Than blew her come back at MTV & than to top it all off Shar & Perez blow her spot up on MTV's Celeb. Rapstar. Poor girl, she has no real mommie time with the boyz? Wow she is just rebeling and depressed. 87. I am amazed at some of the posts here... For those of you who love britney, what exactly do you love? She has pretty much abandoned her kids, showed her privates in public, shaves her head, looks trashy all the time, does nothing with her time except drink starbucks, visit gas stations, and has her picture taken a million times a day by thesee photo guys..

90. 53. If Kevin isn't in it for the money then why is he receiving $15,000 a month for child support. I would act like a great dad to if I was going to be able to receive more money and not have to work. He needs to get a job and Britney needs to get some help for herself and fight for her kids.

$15,000 a month is chump change for Britney. She makes $700,000 a month. Would you have her children live with her and her insanity rather than a father who obviously is taking decent care of them, he is not out parading them all over town at all hours of day and night like Britney was doing. Perhaps you missed the pictures of the poor kids in the backseat of her car crying in fear as photographers took THEIR pictures constantly along with their mother-- or them screaming in ffear and she abandoned her car and took off screaming at the paps earlier last summer?

Kevin didn't send Britney over the edge.. she was already heading over the cliff when she and Timberlake broke up, it got worse around the time she married Alexander for a day and it was she who text-messaged Kevin she was divorcing him, not the other way around....

Personally, the way she seems to be throwing money and toys at her new Pap-squeeze, I would like to see her ordered to pay MORE money to Kevin for the babies, hopefully he is smart enough to save some and if she ends up dead from all her antics maybe there will be money there for them until someone sorts out her estate, because I have serious doubts she has a will.. so the State of California is likely to end up with most of her money.

K-Fed is no angel, but he is not the issue here, Britney is and she needs help, I hope this judge demands she gets help....
