Witnesses Take Stand in Brit Custody Hearing

Brit's still a no-show, but today's custody hearing is continuing as scheduled, having just broken for lunch.

A group of LAPD officers, firefighters and paramedics who were on scene at Brit's Ranchita Popwreck breakdown on the January 4 are expected to testify today. A male LAPD officer, who was one of the first responders to Brit's house that night, just finished testifying.

K-Fed and attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan are in the building, Britney hasn't even left her house. Today's hearing is considered Britney's last chance to get any custody back -- if she doesn't show, it could be over for her visitation until at least April.

91. Obviously she doesn't care about her children, If she did, she would be at court on time or earlier! More likely she is going to overdose and that will be the end of Britney Spears. Why feel sorry for her? All of us has problems, but she thinks because she WAS a pop star she could get away with it! Sorry Brit you had your chance!

93. Why doesn't the judge have her brought in by the police? If not to address her total lack of of care for her sons, then to make her pay for the time and manpower for that entire scene at her home last week?

94. Stop with the "Kevin wants money" thing. Even after taking off with Britney in the beginning, he was still a dad to the
kids he already had. He is entitled to money from Britney and she's got it to give so get past it. Big money warrants
big child support payments, that's the courts decision more than the custodial parent's. I just wish they'd lock her up
today for wasting the court's time again. That's what would happen to you or I.

96. Two things: 1) This court hearing is going to go on for DAYS. 2) Just saw an overhead shot of her house. If I had her bucks, I'd live in a nicer place. It's just a big house in a gated neighborhood. Thousands just like it in SoCal.

99. I had some hope she would show. If she wants to act this way then she really doesn't deserve to see the kids. #6 "management" your english sounds like white trash. Don't should have been doesn't. 101. you people are all so judgemental...shes SICK! if she had cancer would you be saying the things youre saying now? cuz theres no difference. i also have to say that i hope she doesnt show up because she shouldnt be turned loose with those kids. i hope she gets the help she needs but until then her kids dont need to see her.

104. Kevin gets his wish, driving Brit over the edge. Let's see any of you go thru what this leech has put her through and you stand up to it. When is Kev going to be ORDERED to get a JOB? He called the cops when she is late handing HER children over and he says SHE HAS A GUN! Try that folks, next time your ex is late with the kiddies. She has already had to give KLeech 10 MILLION DOLLARS! How much is enough people? Just wait, if she goes to court, I predict she goes to JAIL!!! Sure, why not. She hasn't been charged with any crime against her children, but then, KLeech and his henchman lawyer(who already pocketed a cool 1/4 mil SO FAR) can always have her jailed on a contempt charge. Britney needs LAWYERS and a REAL judge. Not some court commish to do Kaplans dirty work. Her Adnan is a step UP over KLeech. Did any of you ever think she needs someone to CARE for HER?
