Brit Ditches Court for Empanadas

Britney Spears couldn't be bothered attending her all-important custody hearing yesterday -- but mama had all the time in the world for more food from South of the border! Tengo hambre!


After showing up -- and then immediately bagging her court date yesterday, Brit hightailed it to the San Fernando Valley with dos hombres, Adnan and Sam, causing a mad pap crush at Gaucho Grill, an Argentinian restaurant chain.

Instead of quietly taking the elevator down to the private underground parking lot, Brit and the gang took a "look at us" escalator ride down into the waiting sea of paparazzi. After that madness -- and the requisite outfit change -- a British Brit then stopped off at a Hollywood Rite Aid, tightly grasping her man's hand as they traversed the photog-filled parking lot.

259. I want to see a picture of Adnan's wife and have someone interview her. Do they have kids? Where is she living? Although, Britney is a complete mess...he is taking outrageous advantage of the situation. He is scum looking for a big payday. Let's put some paps & photogs on his family and see how it likes it.

260. She manages to go anywhere and do anything else she really wants to do even with the media there. Evidently she wasn't that interested in being at the hearing for her boys or she would have been there. And why didn't she attempt to go to the morning session? Her kids should be the most important thing in her life and if she can put up with the media to go shopping and to restaurants, she should be able to deal with them to go to an important hearing concerning visitation with her kids.

Maybe she is mentally ill, I don't know... but I think part of it is just being a spoiled rotten brat and thinking that the rules the rest of us have to live by don't apply to her.

I think everyone assumes she is going to pull out of this because she is a star but there are tons of mothers out there that don't have mental issues or bi polar etc that just don't want there kids. Everyone needs to stop excusing what she is doing on a mental illness bc personally i think she is just fine and just doesn't want her kids right now. I bet she is regretting having them with Kevin, they remind her of them and she would rather go out and party and do drugs etc and they just get in the way.

270. I don't understand why the Court isn't imposing sanctions upon her. She has blown so many Court dates and they keep rescheduling for her, enabling her even more, which is clearly what she does not need. As a mother, she is absolutely disgusting to me.
