47. Football isn't even my main sport but I know that the Pats are going all the way. You've been doubting us all along but this is our year. Pats by 7. (low ball number but I don't want to predict a landslide and risk getting the sports gods mad.)

49. Ahh, baseball junkie has it right, unlike all the classless fans and sports writers in Boston. The more you guys act like the Chargers don't have a chance, the better our odds. Your players read the news, and some of them aren't as smart as bellicheat and brady. They will be playing over confident and I think the bolts will take advantage.

We are a legitimate team that definitely have a chance, even on the road, against a great team like NE. And at least we know what we are up against.

PS Rivers and LT are emotional and maybe hot headed but Tom Brady is a greedy arrogant prick. Everyone knows it, but nobody in Boston will admit it, just like how they won't admit that NE got lucky against us last year. 53. Ryan, you may know football (although from your comments I doubt it.) but the Sox had the Series from day one of the season. We had the best team hands down. The Rockies made a great run at the end of the season but they had no chance against us. We got the mojo and all the other teams know it.

56. Ryan, I'm sorry I went off on you. I must have been reading someone else and your name stuck in my mind. I agree that both the Chargers and the Pats are good teams. May the best team win (but I'm still gonna pull for the Pats.)
You're also right that the sportswriters are over the top but this is a sports oriented (read rabid) town and if they were caught being reasonable, they'd lose their jobs.

57. How can you people consider yourself from southern California and not at least pretend to support the Bolts? Totally ruins the whole "30 mile zone" image. Yeah I know SD is more like an 80 mile zone but seriously, the Chargers are the closest thing LA will ever have to a home team, unless you count the Raiders (but it's better to just pretend like they don't exist).
And uh, Chargers rule!! 10,000 San Diegians greeted them when they arrived at Charger field on Sunday. Because unlike Pat fans, Chargers fans never give up on their team win or lose.
