Frank-N-Furter Gets Royally Dissed

One question most celebs don't want to hear: "Why are you famous?" That's how it was for Tim Curry last night at Orso when a baffled woman quizzed the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" star -- who has a mile-long list of credits.

Guess she's not a fan of sweet transvestites from transsexual (sing with us!) Transylvaniaaaaaaaaaaa.

31. Hmmm, I thought my comment went through.

Someone said Tim as 'RumTugTugger' was the Cat's Meow. Tim has done numerous roles, many mentioned here . . . he never did "Cats" in any role. That was Terrence Mann, who greatly resembled Tim in the 80s!

Tim is incredibly talented, witty and a joy to see on stage, screen or at a stage door greeting fans!

32. I LOVE Tim Curry!! Obviously the bimbo never saw RHPS and doesn't have kids (Wild Thornberrys, etc.) Good God, anyone with half a brain and a TV knows who Tim Curry is! Shame of it is, many people don't know he is a classical actor, and I don't blame him for taking the RHPS role. Hey, it helped pay his bills (and it sure was a funny movie!)

I see you shiver with antici--(sayit, sayit, SAYIT!)-PATION!

33. Ha, I said that to Stephen Dorff once. I didn't know who he was but a group of girls ran up to get his autograph at the airport.

38. I must say, I'm impressed at the love shown for Tim on this comment thread. Not a single negative directed at him! He is a true gent, very sweet and gracious with fans--I can say that fomr personal experience as I've had the honor of meeting him (after nearly 30 years as a fan of his work). Sorry to hear he's had to have another foot surgery--he had one early in 2007 as well, and I had hoped that would correct the problem. And also sorry to see that he's still smoking. Nevertheless, what a talented man, and a tremendous voice! It's very obvious that he's quite adept at handlng the public. Aww, hope he can put away that cane sometime soon!

39. Boston Belle, you're thinking of "Over the Top" which aired three episodes (although they shot 12, plus a separate pilot with a partially different cast) in 1997.

I rather liked the cane--Bianca Jagger rocked one, so why not Tim Curry?
