Celebrity Justice
Angry Judge Doubles O.J.'s Bail!

No ifs ands or buts, a Nevada judge is pissed at the Juice!!

At today's bail revocation hearing, Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass was all over Simpson, strongly chastising him for not paying his previous $125,000 bail, saying, "I don't know, Mr. Simpson, what the heck you were thinking -- or maybe that's the problem -- you weren't," adding, "I don't know if it's just arrogance. I don't know if it's ignorance. But you've been locked up at the Clark County Detention Center since Friday because of arrogance or ignorance -- or both." With that, she doubled Simpson's bail to $250,000. She told him he was to stay put in jail until 15% of the bail -- in cash -- was paid. O.J.'s attorney told the court that Simpson's home would be put up as collateral.

Glass also reminded Simpson that he was not to contact any other defendants or leave the country. She told him if he violated any of the terms of his bail again, he'd be locked up until his trial begins on April 7.

32. In life, what you put in, you reap the results. Put bad things into your body, and you will be unhealthy, Think bad thoughts, you will feel bad. Do bad things and bad things will come back to you. Do good things and good things will return your way.

34. Wow......if looks could kill, huh? Judge Glass was right on with her ruling! Simpson looked as tho' he wanted to charge the bench, didn't he? It's about time someone gave that piece of crap a good lecturing to! If it takes a burglary charge and conviction to put this slime ball behind bars...then so be it! We all knew that his "...arrogance or ignorance-or both..." would bite him in the butt eventually.

36. Dee listen again..................The Judge did chastize him for contravening bail conditions.....contacting a person, against the previous Judge's directive.....and warned him very emphatically and clearly that his lawyers were to act for him........that he was not ....again.........to make any type of contact, with those persons as stipulated in the previous bail conditions.............this is on film.for all to see & hear........................Yes, his bail was doubled.......he "bailed' on the previous bail. That Judge made short thrift of both Simpson & his "officer of the court" lawyer. They were publicly humiliated in front of the world................rightly so. Let us see what Legal Scam the little weasels will come back with now.

37. Why don't you guys go picket Robert Blakely's house if you're so mad about injustice. The "Baretta" star was found not guilty for the slaying of his wife, Bonny Lee Bakley, who was shot in a car outside a restaurant where the couple had dined. He was found liable for her death in the civil trial.

41. I love how he looks so pissed off while Judge Glass was going off on him. He's got the crazy eyes working, you can tell by looking at him that he's wishing he had a BIG knife right now.

What I still don't understand was that if he was ordered not to leave the country and had to surrender his passport to his attorney, how did he end up in the Bahamas for Christmas? Shouldn't his lawyer be getting in some type of trouble for obviously assisting him in violating the terms of his bail?

42. Maybe you guys should save some of your outrage for Phil Spector's re-trial in September 2008. The music producer's first murder trial for killing Lana Clarkson by jamming a gun in her mouth and blowing her brains out ended in a mistrial.

43. Special privileges again for a "celebrity". If he were Joe Schmo, he'd be locked up for this. The judge should be ashamed for granting him another privilege. I hope he doesn't show in April, then he wouldn't have a house to go home to.
