17. I think a lot of those guys think they can get away with "becoming news" now. It's amazing how balsy some of them are literally getting up in peoples faces and snapping or shooting away, then saying things like "you can't touch my camera". We need a paparazzi smackdown. Let bodyguards start smacking the ones that get too close or invade personal space around and they'll back off.

20. I'm sick and tired of people saying that Avril got her start in country, then turned her back on it. This is not true at all. She won a radio contest to sing with Shania Twain at a conert in Ottawa when she was about 13 or 14. She didn't know the song and had to learn it. If anything she got her start in gospel singing in local churches. Name one other countr song, besides "what made you say that" with Shania, that she has EVER sang. That's what I thought.

sadly, i think it's going to take another celebrity death caused by over-aggressive paparazzi before lawmakers say, you know what? this is crazy and needs to stop!
i understand that celebrities are public figures and the paparazzi have a right to photograph them in public. but does society benefit from knowing every single useless detail of how they spent their day? do we care what these unimportant people ate at koi? i don't!
the paparazzi clearly can't monitor their own behavior and i think lawmakers need to step up and recognize them for being the aggressive and violent slime they are and legislate rules against excessive celeb-hounding.

Sorry, but I'll have to agree with several other posts that this 'wannabe gangsta paparazzi' needed to just get beyotched slapped. Now that would have been pure entertainment.
That was a classic example of how the paparazzi "attempt" [and sometimes succeed] into getting these celebrties to act out.
