77. Hey Xenu like that you replied to my comment and I went to your link. This was a tragic lost of life. My statement was "I don't recall seeing this religion starting any wars in my history books, or even killing anyone in the name of their church." By killing I meant going out and killing people who did not agree or believe in their religion. I can not make any excuse for denying someone the right to medical attention and then turn around and try to help the person their own way and end up killing her. That's just sad. All I'm saying is we should let others believe in what they want and respect it instead of making fun or calling it a cult. Like what was done to the original people who inhabited this country before the Europeans came over. Not to compare or belittle that situation but other religions do worse things and we say nothing about those beliefs because they are widely accepted or ignored.

And I said it's just one sad example. You have no idea what they do to people - make them pay a fortune for their "courses" and auditing until they are broke (and sometimes they commit suicide because of that - and because they don't have any friends anymore outside of the cult - they had to get rid of all the "SP's", no one there to help them anymore and they are brainwashed and afraid to get real help), deny them medical treatment, blackmail them - you should really do some research on Scientology before you just make some uneducated guesses. And also do some research on their secret service called OSA. Since when does a church need a secret service?

She used to be a member of Scientology and they made her snap, she now believes that LRH was her father, Dwight Eisenhower her grandfather, and that she was born in a submarine village under the Great Salt Lake in Utah, and was kidnapped from it and taken to Germany as part of a Nazi conspiracy, etc.

Xenu I see what you're saying about secret service type detail, but you gotta see what the Pope has. He has his own security detail, Pope Mobile (because of some idiot trying to kill the last, but he forgave him).The Vatican is it's own city, they have a secret service group as well, along with that it had it's own currency system in place within Italy until 1999 before switching to the Euro, Some believe the Pope is the only one who can speak with God. And they have that right to do so. Like the info you supplied, didn't know all of this. Hell I didn't know anything about it, but I'm not the one calling it a cult, Spurs. You remind of those in the dark ages who didn't know much about things, and you were scared of it so you condemn it and burn people for it instead of learning to respect others belief.

82. Just another note, back in the day before Christianity spread through out the world, its teachers were called some what of a cult. Some even died for their teachings. Not saying it will ever amount to Christianity, but we need to tolerate thy neighbor. Show understandings to others before we burn them at the stake. If they harm you all bets are off then.

You can't compare that to a cult like Scientology. Does the Vatican dig up dirt on critics (or make stuff up) and start smear campaigns against them? Sue them to harrass them? Do they make people pay a fortune for "courses" until they are broke? And still ask for more (members are brainwashed, very often they are in huge dept as well - because money is all Scientology wants, and they make them believe they have to pay more and more for courses and auditing to get a better life). Do they bully, threaten and harrass members that want out or that left? Smear them and blackmail them, threatening to use all the intimate details from the auditing sessions against them? Please do more research, there's a lot on the internet, don't confuse it with religion.

85. Enough already with the trashing of Tom Cruise and his family! Clearly, you are trying to destroy his image and defame his character. Leave the guy alone. He bothers no one, tries to be a decent person and live a decent life. In light of what goes on in Hollywood, I'm not surprised that he is now a target for the media to trash because the REAL TRASH seems to be what Hollywood is more than willing to accept as normal. You don't speak for or represent middle America.
