Coroner on Ike: Coke Is It!

Ike TurnerIke Turner died of an accidental cocaine overdose, the San Diego County Coroner revealed today.

Paul Parker, Chief Investigator at the Medical Examiner's Office, said, "We are listing that he abused cocaine, and that's what resulted in the cocaine toxicity."

Ike's daughter Mia told the AP that her father's drug use was "an ongoing struggle."

Turner died on December 12 at his rented San Marcos home.

29. Obama and many others have been able to get their cocaine abuse under control. It is so sad that Ike was not able to do so. Cocaine and other addictions (power, money, fame, even food - Oprah take heed) can create bipolar mental illness. I am sure Ike was bipolar just like Britney, Oprah, Obama and many people who have serious drive and compulsive addictions. Tina Turner is drunk half the time now just like Diana Ross. Let Ike rest his sorry ass in peace. At least he had sense enough not to have a talk show or run for President.
