Coroner on Ike: Coke Is It!

Ike TurnerIke Turner died of an accidental cocaine overdose, the San Diego County Coroner revealed today.

Paul Parker, Chief Investigator at the Medical Examiner's Office, said, "We are listing that he abused cocaine, and that's what resulted in the cocaine toxicity."

Ike's daughter Mia told the AP that her father's drug use was "an ongoing struggle."

Turner died on December 12 at his rented San Marcos home.

46. I read Tina's book on which the movie was loosely based and I have to say she is an amazing woman to have survived life with this ***h***. Wasn't he a little old to be overdosing on cocaine?, sorry but that's just plain funny. I feel for his kids but what a nightmare he must have been as a father.

48. Have any of you noticed just how many younger people are walking around with limited movement on one side of their body. Usually the effect of a drug induced blood clot causing a stroke. Some people are lucky and live and some people are luckier and die. Ike obviously was super lucky because he died while high as a kite. I like to think that "God" recycles these people to be born again as chickens for Foster Farms. Can you image living as a chicken for eternity. What a lucky Guy. Just a thought.
