Paps Busted After Crazy Britney Chase

TMZ has learned that four paparazzi were arrested for reckless driving last night after chasing Britney Spears' car around Mission Hills, Calif. -- and four more were pulled over for driving crazazy-like.


Around 11:20 PM last night, according to law enforcement sources, police pulled over a total of eight vehicles driven by photogs, after they were observed driving evasively at a high rate of speed and making dangerous lane changes in and around Mission Hills. Four of the drivers were arrested.

We're also told that Britney herself told cops that one of the cars may have tried to "run her off the road," but she couldn't ID which car it was, so no action was taken. Also, we spotted her going to Kitson -- the clothing store -- at 1:30 in the morning. Yes, she made them open up the store.

TMZ has also learned that cops were pleasantly surprised when Britney forked over a valid California driver's license.

91. And she pulls off without her headlights on! I do believe they should have charged her, too. The paps are just trying to make some money. What's her excuse???? Oh, yeah... Just because they were driving at a high rate doesn't mean Brit was. Nothing states they (paps) were trying to "catch up" with her. You're ignorant if you truly believe that. Stalking? Countless celebs in the world a great deal of which are coping with mental illness as bad if not worse then what Brit "appears" to be going through. They don't pull the same attention seeking behavior as she does. If you think that girl can get a store opened for her to shop at in the wee hours of night but couldn't obtain a pregnancy test without going to the store herself in a car she is ALWAYS driving ..... She is screaming for the attention... If you can't see it lol bah

If you want your babies back do the following:
1:stay in past 10:00 p.m.
2. stop driving around at all hours of the night
3:stop pulling pranks for attention
4:fire or get rid of all the so called "friends or boy friends"
5:allow your family back into your life
6:seek some counseling

100. Did anyone notice that she took off with no lights on? It's dark
outside and she drives off with no lights!! I definately think they
should do something about how the paps hound these people. They
should
be made to stay several hundred feet away from them and give them
more
privacy. They paps are like vultures.

102. This is wonderful news. I hope the police arrest the paparazzi more often for their dangerous behavior. They are going to kill someone in their frenzy to get to these celebrities! Let's get some laws in place regarding paparazzi behavior now before someone gets seriously hurt!
