46. I was in rehab with this guy. It is so sad to see that he was unable to pull through what he was going through. He seemed like a genuinely nice person and extremely down to earth. While he was there, and clean from drugs, he wanted nothing more than to be "normal" and resume acting. R.I.P Brad

I think its very disturbing he left behind as his last communication this tatoo..very sad that he saw suicide as his last option..so sad no one noticed just how much pain he was in...what is pathetic is the people that write quip remarks about a person in so much pain...al;l things go around come around...while we are human let us remain humane,...

51. I hope that when you guys all die that people have nice things to say about you too......I figured people would just look at his career and think it's a shame what happened NO MATTER HOW HE DIED. He died and its cruel those of you who are talking about him being a "waste of oxygen", just the fact that you come up with such mean and "clever" comments makes you the waste life.

Like you guys are so perfect, so he had problems, so don't a lot of people. Maybe he got that tattoo for the heck of it - Brad always seemed to have a good sense of humor in interviews, etc. I just love how people rush to judgement and assume that was his suicide note....we won't know for 1 1/2 months - so in the meantime show some respect......if you have any decency at all.

52. One wonders how long ago it was that he lost his sense of self...his tattoo seems to be screaming, "Notice me" and it is so sad that there was no time for him. The general "jail, rehab, acceptance" seemed to be too long.

54. Actually for those calling him a has been...blah blah blah....his career was actually pretty consistant. He was always doing a movie..and with major stars..soooo......Its horrible to know that someone had to turn to drugs to exsist.
Money..fame...and miserable......so maybe instead of taking the time to get on here and bash him..take the time to appreciate what you have. But I am a firm believer in that if someone is cruel to others and about others bad times....they are very miserable themselves and to be pitied.

Ok 'bud' you need a serious reality check. brad renfro was not pathetic he was just having a hard time. whats pathetic is you sitting at your computer talking trash on the dead when your life is probably just as messed up as his was. He was a great actor who could have made a come back if he only tried. he made more money on one movie than you probably will working your whole life.

58. This is a vague report. Right now I'm just wondering how he died. All they said is they found his body. Did he overdose? Did he kill himself? I feel bad he died, especially as young as he was. He's the first person in my lifetime that I've met that's died. I'm feeling like I should have gotten closer to him. I'll always remember him as a pretty goofy down-to-earth guy with good taste in music. I'll be pouring some my drink, and you'll always be in my prayers. R.I.P.
