Brad Renfro -- The Last Tattoo

Brian RenfroBrad Renfro died this week at the age of 25. The L.A. County Coroner tells TMZ Brad had a freshly inked tattoo across his back, that read, "F*CK ALL Y'ALL (asterisk added). Possibly a clue to Brad's dark mood in the final days.

Renfro got the tattoo on Sunday. His body was found Tuesday.

61. I just don't understand why the coroner made that public. What purpose can releasing that detail possibly serve except tobring more hurt or pain to Brad's family and friends? Even though the cause of death hasn't been released, there's been nothing but speculation on his mental state, talk of overdose/suicide, etc. and this big revelation just made it worse.

Everyone knows Brad had drug issues. The coroner of all people should understand the preservation of someone's dignity and in a case like this could have taken the high road and not said anything. What a shame.

For Brad's fans this doesn't change the fact that we thought he was an incredible actor with so much more to give. I truly hope he is free of pain and knows how much his death impacted so many people.

62. Wow. I read throught the comments and some people are out there. Who said he committed suicide? The cause of death and manner of death have not been released yet --- it will take several weeks to get back the toxicology results. It took like 5 weeks to get back Ike Turners toxicology results.

My guess is -- it was an accidental overdose, but that is just a guess. I definitely don't think there is any indication that it was suciide. Media is reporting that he was in a house with his girlfriend and some other people--- that had been drinking the night before--- people heard him snoring in the night--- and but woke up to him not breathing.

That doesn't SEEM like suicide to me.

64. I am soo sad, 'cause he was kinda hot, and now, he's dead. He shouldnt have died. He shouldnt have killed himself, that's sooo dumb! He looses all credability in my books, and he's going to hell. That REALLY sucks!

65. It hurts me to see that Brad Renfro was in so much pain...probably he had no-one to rely on or trust on...this is very sad indeed...he should have had some good close friends and some supporting family members...but, alas, it was never meant to be, I guess...Things like these are not supposed to happen to nice people like Brad...I feel outraged...All of us lost a great human being and a wonderful actor...Rest in Peace...Brad Renfro, I love you...God bless...

66. I wonder what sort of pathetic loser friends he was hanging around that let a recovering addict, who was on probation and supposedly in out patient rehab --- DRINK?

Sorry, if I had a friend who was in rehab and on probation & they tried to drink in front of me -- I'd pretend to be driving them to a club or to pick up some more alcohol and drive them to the police station!

I read that he could have been ordered by the judge to attend an IN PATIENT rehab center to up to 18 months. If she/he had done so, maybe brad would be alive.

This is why law makers are so damn tough on drug crimes-- well, everywhere besides Los Angeles. I am so upset that he died. I just wish that someone would have cared enough about him to make him get himself straight.

Once again, I know we don't know the cause of death but the fact is - his friends admitted he had been drinking the night before and he shouldn't have even been doing that.

68. any person that has no empathy for a young person's death (that has so much talent to boot), as far as i am concerned, is the loser. the heartlessness that some of these bloggers have shown, validate how immune our country has become to tragedy. everything is to sensationalized and minimized. i find this story and others (ie britney) very tragic indeed.

69. It makes you wonder though if he maybe died of an infection from the new tattoo?

70. He needed TOM CRUISE to save him with Scientology and a mixture of donor sperm.

71. I just heard about the tatoo. If this is true, it is a real shame that he was in such a dark place and felt so alone and angry. To have that phrase written in ink anywhere on your body is more than a cry for help. Where are his "friends"?
I think most people believe the results from his autopsy will show drug usage or an overdose. Dependency on drugs is always a struggle to overcome. I applaud any person that fights for sobriety. We all learn the best lessons from mistakes - that is what a relapse is. So if he did start using drugs again, it would make the outcome of this story much more tragic.
Does anyone think that there is another cause of death? We just found out he got a tatoo 2 days earlier. Maybe some blood poisining? Infection? Sleep Apnea?
I am already so sad about his passing. I was always a huge fan of his work.

72. I remember him from a movie called "Bully". He played a bullied teenager in this true story. Its a good flick. You all should watch it.

74. Hmm.. very strange. Have they said if this was a suicide or not?
I'm not trying to be morbid but I would like to know.
I feel really bad for the guy, and for his friends & family too.
He died way to young. The whole thing is just SAD..

75. It's heartbreaking to learn of such a tragic loss of such a gifted actor. He was discovered due to his personal demons as a pre teen. Obvioudsly they remained to the very end. It reminded me of the same sadness of loosing River Phoenix. Methadone mixed with alcohol is deadly, but combine that equation with ANY medication and Death is pretty likely. I have to take Medthadone because of 4 back surgeries. I NEVER drink, Ever, nor would I Mix the Methadone with Any Other Drug. The Meth combo has killed more people than OxyContin alone. My prayers go out to his loved ones. However I think some of the Ultra Conservative Religous persecution from his background were part of what he was running from.
