Christian BrandoTMZ has learned that Christian Brando, the 49-year-old son of actor Marlon, is in bad shape at Hollywood Presbyterian hospital.

Sources tell TMZ that Brando was admitted on Jan. 11 and remains in ICU. The exact nature of his illness is unknown.

Brando was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in the 1990 death of his half-sister's boyfriend, Dag Drollet. Christian got out of prison in 1996.

In 2005, Christian pled guilty to abusing his then-wife. Deborah Presley (who claims she's Elvis' illegitimate daughter).

47. Christian is a good man who has gone through a lot in life. He has a good heart and I pray that his recovery is full and speedy. I find it very depressing that people who don't know anything have the most to say. Get well soon brother.

53. Regardless of whether Christian Brando did the Dag murder and regardless of whether he was involved in the murder of Robert Blake's wife, he is a human being and deserves some compassion right now. My prayers are with Christian Brando and his family.

Maybe he'd done some horible things in the past but it doesn't mean that he's a bad man he's a humain like everyone so stop sayin' cruel things on him imagine he's your brother !!!!

It does not matter how careful you are or what promises of confidentiality he offers, sooner or later someone WILL discover your identity, find out that you may have violated HPPA regulations, and then you will be in deep grease!
