31. I would guess that Paris was paid by the Film Festival to just show up and party! Thats her job, right?? Just show up, party, and promote events. She makes a tidy sum for each event she attends. and she does know her business. Paris Hilton is not as dumb as we may think. She has her own line of clothing, and jewelry and whatnot... Even if she dosen't get an inheritance, she will be doing well with the other businesses she has going. Let's face it, "She's the girl you just love to hate!" and she wants you to feel that way about her.

No offense, but what planet are you from? The Sundance Film Festival was initially founded as serious, cultured event, and not the shallow "party show" people like Hilton have created. She is NOT paid to show up there, and many do not care for her or about her -- especially, at Sundance. Hilton is disrespected in many places, because of the cheap side show that she creates to make money. We are speaking of standards that you apparently do not possess. And she is not an heiress -- your facts are way off.

40. Here we go again. Ill-informed people think that Hilton is actually paid to party at Sundance? LOL. Of course she issn't. Sundance is hardly Vegas. She's there to promote her B movie. No wonder so many people affiliated with Sundance are upset with user and takers like her showing up at at this wonderful festival. PH appears to cheapen everything just by being there. But she needs the money -- the product lines she leases her name to aren't selling as well as people had hoped -- prices are being cut repeatedly on her clothing line.

I think the message here is that more and more people are saying it's time to raise certain standards -- standards that her side of the Hilton family could never live up to. It's a travesty to watch Paris and Kathy pimp the Hilton name in such a cheap way.

43. I saw the trailer to Hilton’s inferior film, “The Hottie & the Nottie,” which she is trying to promote at Sundance. Her wooden, stilted performance – if you could call it a performance – is terrible. This woman has 0 talent, and should stay away from film. Judging from the negative comments about her recent, failed audition in NYC for the stage production of “Chicago,” she should stay away from the stage as well.
