It's Not a Bad Dream: Suzanne Pleshette Dies

TV wife Suzanne Pleshette died at her home in Los Angeles last night at age 70, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Just last September, while undergoing treatment, she appeared at a 35th anniversary event celebrating "The Bob Newhart Show."

Suzanne was married in 2001 to "Newhart" actor Tom Poston, who died in 2007.

Pleshette got a really big break in 1963, when Alfred Hitchcock cast her in "The Birds." She married heartthrob Troy Donahue the following year. Her most unforgettable appearance, however, was in the classic final episode of "Newhart," when she rolled over and revealed that the whole show had been a dream.

92. I hate that! She was great and the best line of any final episode ever has to be when Bob Newhart suggests she wear sweaters more often during the final episode of "Newhart" Priceless, as was she!

94. Oh my Winky, I didn't know you were stalking my posts. You never know who's following you when you're walking somewhere. Winky, It's nice to know that someone is grading you on your posts and handing out report cards telling you who and what you said about someone. If you think I'm filthy, that's fine because you don't know me or I know you. If you love Britney, Lindsay and Paris that okay with me, we have a difference of opinion about your girlfriends and their behavior. I'll fess up about my thought of these ladies, and that's being kind. I feel sorry for Britney and I think she needs help, but she's got to listen and ask for help. Lindsay is different to me, I think she the only one I see is as a victim of terrilble parents, and Paris is just a attention-seeking little slut who is all about herself and no one else. I hope this doesn't hurt your feelings. I don't drink and I will get back to the Miltary Channel, by the way, you never said that you loved your country, well do ya?

95. Forgot one thing, I love Susanne Pleshette and I didn't say she died because she smoked, but we all know that didn't help. Smoking is leading cause of lung cancer, throat cancer and breast cancer in the world!!!!!

And yes you DID criticiza SP about her dealth when you slammed the smoker who commented that he/she was a smoker and you decided to get all snarky with them. I've lost family members to lung cancer too - and while I wish they hadn't smoked, I would NEVER be so mean spirited and judgemental as to say "that's what you get for smoking!" like you did to the smoker who commented pages ago. So looks like you SAY you loved & admired SP while your actions show otherwise.

103. What a shame of a loss of such a beatiful and talented actress. I remember her in Nevada Smith with Steve MaQueen and fell in love with such a sexy young woman. In her younger days she was the hottest of the hot. They just dont make them like her anymore.
