And she's off! Britney has now left the deposition -- after nearly two and a half hours of testimony. A new record! Britney's attorneys Sorrell Trope and Tara Scott tell TMZ Brit was "in good spirits" during the proceeding.
TMZ caught the weaved-out former star as she drove off -- followed by her usual pack of paparazzi. Although we've been told they're done for the day, this isn't the end for Britney. We've learned the depo could last at least two days -- so we're expecting her back!

um, she doesn't need to be dressed to the hilt to give a depo, people. she did it, its done, and i'm sure very hard for her. although it's only one, it's a start. just let it go - let things happen and if she deserves the kids, then she will get them back, if she doesn't, she won't. i'm sure there is a lot we don't know, and being that is is a CHILD CUSTODY situation, i think people are forgetting that fact and let the media run with what they want to. i find it sad - let her deal with her issues and this case w/out the other media nonsense.... i also find it sad that the paps have to run up to a car in the middle of traffic like that in and out of cars - when will it stop??

Im glad she's got her act together for at least today. I hope it sticks with her. She hasnt been a very good mother, but she has great potential to be! I'll be prayin for her!
