Lets Get This Party Started
Britney's Latest Pal -- A Chair?

Britney Spears had another rotating circus of pap pals this weekend -- as TMZ observed earlier -- but last night, it looks like she got hot and heavy with an inanimate object: a chair.

The owner of Millennium Dance Complex tells People that Brit was in doing "choreography" for her song "Hot as Ice," and that Spears "rehearsed an amazing routine with a chair." She spent nearly three hours at Millennium, and asked for a pap named Filipe when she left.

Earlier, she was at Petco, getting dog food and a birdcage. Looks like she'll surround herself with just about any life form these days.

Oprah Under Fire for Rudy-Lovin' Rabbi

Oprah Winfrey is taking some flak for hiring a TV Rabbi who is a vocal supporter of Rudy Giuliani.

Rush & Molloy report that Obama-booster O has given Rabbi Shmuley Boteach his own show on her XM radio channel, and some people are steamed, because the Rabbi held a fund-raiser for Giuliani's prez-run last year. Obama and Rudy, naturally, are at pretty much the opposite ends of the political spectrum.

But Oprah's rep says, "It's a non-issue. The political affiliations of our hosts are their personal choice."

Party Favors: Katie Holmes' Big Scientoloflop ... Mr. Big Has a Little One ... Even Hercules Gets Dermatologically Buff at Sundance

The throngs didn't exactly get up and salute Katie Holmes ("To LRH!") at the box office this weekend, as "Mad Money" ended up with a flaccid $7.7 million, landing it in seventh place. Ironically, a sci-fi monster flick, "Cloverfield," won the weekend with $41 mil. ... "Sex and the City's" Chris Noth and wife Tara Wilson are the proud parents of a baby boy, Orion Christopher Noth, reports Us. ... Ex-"Hercules" Kevin Sorbo -- a guy who knows about exposing his skin to the elements -- stopped in at the Revaleskin Rejuvenation Lounge at the Phoenix Gallery at Sundance, along with Lea Thompson and Armand Assante.

31. Watch out if you pick on the Queen, who I put in the same boat as Tom Cruise, she is not what you see on television. She a megalomaniac just like Trump and Cruise, she will get you, that is her game. But, saying it is a non-issure, political affilation are their own personal choice. She has backed Obama, plus she has a crush on him, and he on her, watch the replays of her stumping for him. When she first started she was professional, now she is just using her money and power to serve herself. But then Karma will get her, so don't worry. We all get paid for what we do, self gain and self promotion are sins. Good luck Oprah, your not a nice person.

32. I live in IL and I can tell u Barak has done NOTHING for this state - he has spent more time trying to run for President than his job as Senator. I think he has no concrete ideas on how to run our state let alone our country.
Additionally I resent that he makes claims that the Clinton's are behind some racial comments yet HE is attending every black college, church and gathering places making sure everyone knows he's black.
This guy could be a great leader but he needs to get experience - not just look good, speak well and rally the race card. His ideas are more Republican than Democratic - better really look at this guys ideas for our country before you vote just b/c he's black or backed by "I think I'm God" Oprah.

33.
Jo,

I agree with you regarding Barack's tenure in Illinois. Unfortunately, I find that this makes him just like every other politician out there, at least the ones that are at that level. Democrat, Republican, either way, the same thing happening.

And I really don't think Oprah has as much power as even SHE thinks she has. I think she does wield a considerable amount of influence, but only over a very specific, and limited, demographic. Everyone else just rolls their eyes when they read and see stuff about her.

If Barack does well overall, she will surely believe it is due to her endorsement, but I would think she actually hurts him in the grand scheme.

34. I was appalled at Oprah for choosing to "endorse" a completely unqualified candidate just because he is black instead of an eminently qualified woman who is clearly the best bet to lead this country.

35.
Anya--"clearly" the best? That is a matter of opinion, of course. That is why we vote. If we all agreed on what was "clearly" the best, we would have no campaigns or elections, we would just crown the president.

36. Oh, goodie! I love that Brit is working again. She may be the strangest bird on the planet, but I love her music and I've always hoped she would come out of this terrible funk she has been spiralizing around in! Now Brit, just get yourself well and let the people who love you (I mean really love you...like Sam...not the paps) get you well again. BTW, I agree with you. Your family hasn't treated you right and every move they make must make you feel like they are backstabbers. I like Sam because he has seen you through good and bad times. Now, go and get yourself well so you can be trusted to get back together with your children. You aren't there yet...even if you are working.

I love Chris Noth. He is the cutest guy and wow, I was so happy when Big and Carrie finally figured it out at the end. I know we don't really (REALLY) know him, but he is the guy I picture on the white horse.

Also, sad to say it...but I have no idea who I will vote for in the next election...and it won't be a decision influenced by Oprah. Does anyone really know anything about these candidates? I voted for Bush (although I'm an independent) and I have been severely (and I mean disgusted) disappointed in him. Geez, think for yourself people.

Katie Holmes? Who cares. She is weird, but she is pretty.

38. Brit knows who to get the attention. For someone who is afraid of the paps and seem so upset when they are around, nver seems to stay at home. Keep your butt at home sometime girl.

39. Barack Hussein Obama. If he becomes the president. Will he take his oath with the Bible or the Quran? Just asking.
