Dems Debate -- Slangin' Dirt in South Carolina

As Democratic presidential hopefuls prepare to debate in South Carolina, it looks like the people of Myrtle Beach have already begun slingin' the dirt around.

Check out these pics of a 20-foot tall sand sculpture built to look like a Clinton-Obama-Edwards version of Mount Rushmore. We're told this monstrosity took 750 TONS (no- we're not kidding) of sand to create ... and a ton of elbow grease.

Now only if they would work that hard in the White House!

66. There have been sand artists at Myrtle Beach for years. I don't know if it's the same person or just artists of a similar style. I remember seeing detailed sand sculptures there as early as 1977. Amazing.

68. I thought I'd raise the level of conversation just a bit and offer something other than "Slinging Mud." Who would Dr. King endorse? Dr. King would support the candidate most likely to stop the selective enforcement of the law. King would support the one who could best promote and share peace and prosperity. Here's something else to think about. Change driven from the "Top Down" is "Bold Leadership." Change driven from the "Bottom Up" is a "Revolution." Do we need bold leadership or a coup led by Oprah Blacks or Hillary's Feminists? Now doesn't John Edwards provide a unique opportunity for America to come together? Why would the media want us to "Sling Mud?" It could mess up John's perfect hair.

69. To say this country would never vote for a woman is ridculous. I am a woman and would most assuredly vote for a female President. Just not this one. She has done nothing deserving of the Presidency and marrying Bill doesnt qualify. He is as much responsible for 911 as anyone that came after him, and to deny that is simply being intellectually dishonest. We remember you Hillary, sit back down and stop insulting our voting intelligence.

Speak for yourself. She does not and will never have my vote. Has anyone thought how the other countrys that we deal with will react to a women? Alot of them dont think a women should even have any rights? I think the US will be a big joke if we vote for a women. 73. Obama is not Muslim...and that nonsense about him not saying the pledge of allegiance is just that, nonsense. Those are two internet rumors that are not fact.
