Adnan's Wife Files for Separation

TMZ has learned Adnan Ghalib's wife has filed for legal separation, citing irreconcilable differences.

AzLynn Berry filed papers in L.A. County Superior Court today, asking for legal separation effective January 18. The couple married in December 2003.

Adnan tells TMZ it's not a big deal and calls it "purely procedural." "She's had the papers for a while," he tells us. "This is old." Coincidence that Brit came into his life recently? We think not.

48. I hope she takes him to the cleaners for whatever profits he gained from Britney. I don't believe Britney is by any means a victim- I think she was a willing party, but Adnan was still married and his wife was put in the media through no choice of her own. For that, I think his wife deserves something.

60. She filed this "In Propria Persona" which means, in her own person NOT through an attorney. Did he leave her so broke that she can't even hire legal counsel to represent her?!? Where is GLORIA ALRED in this? Will she make her appearance and try to become the Petitioner's attorney? Brother . . .
