It was a shock to all when Heath Ledger was found dead in a New York City apartment today. Here is tonight's TMZ TV segment on the death of the talented Australian actor.

Out of respect for Heath's daughter, loved ones, friends and many fans, you should remove this from your site...and perhaps spend a few minutes deleting the many posts on the related blogs that are completely disrespectful. Although Heath was a public figure, we are not entitled to know and see everything...he was first and foremost human. Shame for shame...how would any of you feel if this was your lot in life and even worse in death...or someone you cared about...where is your humanity and compassion??

64. Give it a break...my gosh a man with a family and friends has just passed. Why is it that everyone has to assume whatever they choose in a situation like this. Assume is the correct verbage here. You are all asses...Let his family grieve their loss and God forgive all of you that "judge ohers...:" My heart goes out to his family and to his beloved daughter,. And...may He rest in peace.

69. I, for one replied without having seen the footage. I chose to not look...as many can...I just think that is completely horrible that the choice is even there. He hated the press for exactly what they are continuing to do to him in death. TMZ should step up and take the high road...set a standard....hmm...what a concept.

71. I am a Funeral Director and Embalmer by trade. Even the everyday people just like u and me, when I make a removal at a house or facitily we are very private. People always want to slow down at the crash sight and see the blood. What is wrong with u people, death is something that is sacred. How about this TMZ when u die lets make sure that u are all over the cameras when ur body is rolled out and stories are fabricated about u so that ur family not only has to deal with ur death but the bulls@&$% that they will have to put up with by the media. This is the most distasteful thing I have seen. In this profession that I am in EVERYONE gets respect. I am also ashamed of the NYC Coroners office for not making it private. This is what makes people in the Funeral Business look bad. This is one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. It is very very very Wrong that u do this.

72. This is really sad for his little girl and his family. The film industry has lost at great actor :( I think that is is sick that TMZ would even obtain footage of his dead body being wheeled out and then even have the audicity to air it. No wonder all the celebrities are losing it... to have to deal wih the subhuman behavior of the media on a daily basis is enough to drive anyone insane!!
