R.I.P.
How Heath's Body Was Discovered

The Olsen twins' connection to Heath Ledger's apartment is now clear.

Here's the way it went down. A cleaning lady for Heath arrived at the apartment first, followed soon thereafter by a masseuse. They both entered the room at around the same time and discovered Heath's lifeless body.

The cleaning lady called police. The masseuse, we're told, called the bodyguard for the Olsens. She called him because they're friends and he's an EMT. The bodyguard was around the block at Ashley's and he immediately went over. By the time he arrived, the cops were already there.

We're also told it appeared Heath "had been dead for a while" and there were no visible signs of trauma. There was a pill bottle on the nightstand.

1. I find this unbelievably sad.Heath was a really talented actor.I wonder why celebrities that have everything going for them feel a need to turn to drugs,or substances of any kind,I hope they realize their a role model for younger generations and I would think their fame and fortune would make them more aware of their actions. That it's a privilege to have talent and be in the spotlight with the whole world watching, would make them care about their public position. Also I think any celebrity that is under the influence of a substance, mostly drugs should go through a drug test periodically. They are a role model and should act like it.I know celebrities are human but doing drugs shouldn't be viewed as something cool to be doing,It should be looked down upon,so young people won't follow their lead!

2. 12 step programs mention “God” (male) at least 7 times & many addicts don’t want religion in their lives, drugs or not. Addictions of any kind are really hard to quit, as food addicts know.
I was an alcoholic for 15 years. Nothing my friends or family said mattered. I fell in the street, got a bloody concussion - then I stopped… and it took a year of therapy.
Valium, Xanex, sleeping pills are addicting & too many cloud your rational mind.
Poor guy, now his death is part of his legacy.

5. I heard that the housekeeper first got there she heard him snoring loudly, if thats the case how could he have been dead for somewhile? I just dont get it. For someone so young with such a bright future. It just shows that life is too short and precious and can be taken away at anytime. In my eyes, Heath was a good actor, person, and father. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends and his precious lil girl. God Bless.

7. adrienne - my uncle died while having dinner with me and believe me you do get taken to a hospital even if your dead after cardiac arrest - they do their own checkups n stuff - after, but only after that they take the person to the morgue.
with my unce that was the case and i don't think that once you've died there is 2 different procedures for vip or non - vip.

12. yeah, it was first reported by TMZ he was in full cardiac arrest, I didn't think so because he would have been taken to the hospital, even dead, then off to the morgue

14. This is the most bazaar story I have ever heard. If I saw a lifeless body I would not be calling a famous person's body guard for help. Ever heard of 911?
