154. I think that Heath Ledger was an amazing person and I feel great sorrow and anger toward those of you taking glee in his death. He may have had substance abuse problems but this sounds more like suicide. Users take their pills and hide them, they do not sit around with pills "strewn all over" that is the sign of a frantic attempt to take enough quick enough to not be able to change your mind and to go down fast and painless. He will always be remembered for breaking the most taboo of issues in his amazing portrayal in the historical film Brokeback Mountain. My sympathies to his family and friends!

155. so sad.very greatactor and a handsome man.life ended so fast for him.life as a star is always this way.but the news and papas will make him look like a druggie.and that stinks.my husband is prof guitarest and has played with many starts and when stuff like this happens they ,make them out to be drug heads so sad for tha part.they don t remeber there awards and movies.so sad.god bless his lil girl and may god watch over her for all the storys about her dad will be horrific

I think we all need to remember that a little girl will now grow up without a dad, and that a mother has lost her so. Thee is too much death in the world and just because a celeb has died doesn't mean you can revel in it. I think it's disgusting the way some people comment on these articles. In my opinion you need to grow up and realise that if he did commit suicide then obviosly there was someting seriously wrong and whether he abused drugs or not people are still going to be hurting. These people nee support not to have their loved one attacked.
Some people need to remember that if you've got nothing nice to say then you shouldn't say anything at all.

Sadly, prescription drugs provide so many the high they seek but for only a short time they have to increase the amount of pills they take such as Vicadin to name one to keep getting that feel good buzz until they just don't wake up like Anna Nicole. I hope his family and close friends will find peace in knowing the person he was, as I was found of his smile. A sad fan.
