Heath Ledger recently gave an interview to WJW FOX in Cleveland where he said, "I feel good about dying because I feel alive through her." He was talking about his young daughter Matilda.
Ledger was found dead in a New York apartment at 3:35 PM ET today. He was just 28.

17. Whoever wrote this blurb is stupid. Stop trying to build drama from someone's death. Have respect...oh I forgot you work at tmz and have no soul. If you listen to the interview he says he wants to live. So I dont think he was trying to give any future insight to some lame reporter.

19. I just don't understand, these young people have the world by the balls. I guess fame and money doesn't necessarily mean happiness. It's a very sad situation and proves they don't have everything. R.I.P.

Creation comes from your mind and it's hard to create when you're phased and drugged out. Just thought I'd post what Heath said about drugs when he was prepping for Candy, a film in which he played a heroin addict. It's a sad and accidental death.

25. You guys need to stop being so sensitive. Heath Ledger is dead. This is an unbelievable tragedy and he's like the River Phoenix of this generation. A promising, outstanding actor who was on the cusp of being a mega star.. tragically loses his life too soon.
That's a huge story.

28. I am from Australia and my kids have grown up watching this gentleman's movies. I am 43 and this morning I was told at 8.00 am aussie time he was dead. I was crushed I never knew this man and I was devastated, my tears flowed why I do not know.
I had watched him from his humble beginnings on Home and Away which still runs to this day and all his movies.
To Heath's family what more can I say as a Aussie I am so sorry for your son's death and to Michelle and Matilda never forget him please.
As a Aussie we take pride in our actors who make it big but hell DRUGS are not the way to go. I just hope it was a accident.
