TMZ has learned Lindsay Lohan was seen sobbing inside La Scala with friends DJ AM and Samantha Ronson -- as the group consoled each other after learning of Heath Ledger's death.
Our cameras tried to get comment from Lohan about her former party pal's passing as she left the restaurant, but she was silent, and hid her face from cameras as her driver drove off. We're told the two were "very close" for some time.
1. Probably upset that she didn't get to bang him before he passed.....

3. It's celebrities like Lindsey Lohan who use their status as 'actors' to party, get into trouble and destroy their lives.
Through all of this, I've realized that we need to stop focusing on the people who don't care about their futures and are out looking for attention, and focus on those who love film, love to act, and wouldn't do anything to jeopardize that.
January 22 was truly a sad day for everyone - friends & family, fans & the film industry. Heath Ledger was an amazing and promising actor who had so much more to give to film, unlike other actors you see in the media these days. He was incredible, and no one can ever replace him. It's extremely sad that we won't be able to hear that voice of his, or see any of his amazing performances anymore. He will be missed, always. R.I.P. Heath Ledger, may you live in the sky.
4. i could see her being upset, especially if he died of some kind of drug over-dose considering the past year she had. that would upset me too. but the papparrazi should not be surrounding her at a time of mourning.

8. I believe the media has made us "hate" these people like Lindsay Lohan. All of us are self centered and need attention. Unless we are "enlightened". She is young and I want to have Empathy, but the media does not let us have any empathy for any of the celebs because they exploit every little thing about them short of what they look like on the toilet (and they almost got Britney on that one). I am waiting for the day when the papparazzi are outlawed and will leave our opinions of others to us alone. Media slants are a very subtle form of brainwashing. Believe it or not Lindsay is a human being; she's rich; oh well, we need to get over it. We may be rich someday too, then WHAT?

10. I don't care about Lindsey Lohan. She's the one who's ruining her own life. She wants to act like a fool, she deserves to get it plastered all over the media. I wish she would just move away, get out of the industry and let those who really care about their craft shine through. It's sad though that she needs all the negative attention and it's also sad that people on here defend her. I think it's great what TMZ does, it's what she, and all the other idiots who are always making fools of themselves, wants...attention. If they don't like it, move the heck on, I'm sick of hearing about you messing up. I'd like the younger generation to have someone to look up to...some REAL role models. Ironically, someone like Heath Ledger. It's too bad he was taken too soon.
