The Amy Winehouse Peep Show

1. You Brits have to remember to have a sense of proportion. From over the pond, Amy Winehouse's problems look major, and they certainly are nothing to sneeze at. But our girl Britney is upping the ante.

Today she was sitting in her car outside a school arguing with herself. When someone approached the car and asked when she was there for, she said, "to pick up my kids." Of course, her two boys are too young to go to school.

She then said that she actually was there to pick up her lawyer's kids. All the children came out just then, and reportedly were frightened by her weird appearance and behavior. Finally she was convinced to leave without any of the kids.

2. All this talk about comparing Brit and Amy.....I have to say something. Yes, Amy is a trainwreck...a disaster, and so is Brit. However, in Amy's defense......She actually has talent. Was it 6 or 8 grammy noms? She is not a sell out either. Amy has always been and will always be herself, and she doesn't care who does or doesnt like it.
I want to see her get help and continue making music. I myself have not been so infatuated with an artist as I am with her.
However, we have to thank the muse for the music. Without the pain and craziness is Winehouse's life, we would have gotten an album about butterflies and lillies. Yeah, who wants to hear that?
The best art often comes from the most disturbed people. Look at Vincent Van Gogh.
Now Brit......yeah, um.......she's just a talentless, clueless, annoying spoiled little brat that sold out long, long ago to sell a couple records.
