Busta Rhymes Pleads Out!

Busta Rhymes just plead guilty to all four charges against him, including two assault charges and one DUI.

TMZ was in the courtroom as Busta did a 180 on his not guilty pleas, taking a plea deal. For the two assault charges stemming from incidents last year, the judge promised him three years probation, served concurrently. Busta will have to serve a year in jail if he violates the probation. What's more, an order of protection was issued for the victims of his assault. Sentencing will take place March 18.

As for the DUI, Busta will have to pay a $750 fine and enroll in a drunk driving program. For the final charge, driving with a suspended license, he will have to give up his driver's license for six months.

His lawyer, Scott Leemon, tells TMZ, "We're glad to put this behind us. Busta looks forward to the future. It's been a rough year and a half for him."

31. to sactown1fan@12:36PM - It's not about that. We're talking TWO assault charges here. That's more serious, IMHO, listen to him or not.

32. It's always nice to read the posts of the 'defenders'...those people who are obviously with the person in question (and most always a RAPPER) 24/7. Why keep pouring good water on a bad seed?? Pull yourselves up and out of the way of such trash. It'll finally end up in the dump where it belongs.

33. Wow, I've never seen so many racist comments in one place! Before you start talking about rappers being thugs, and them being useless...take a look at the bulk of the people who buy the records and go to the concerts. I can tell you that about 85% of the auidence looks nothing like him. Oh wait, they do try to look like him. It's funny how you can say a black man is a lowlife and useless, but it's okay to snort crack, drive drunk and possibly kill someone, abandon your kids, because you won't get yourself help. I wasn't sure how that made sense in some of your heads, but I get it...you can relate to it because you do it! Before you think about saying something bad about me, let me tell you that I am a college graduate, have no kids, never got in a fight, don't do drugs, work at a law firm, and oh yes will be attending grad school in about a year. Get a grip people!!!

34. DUI is so common and everyone gets them. I dont think it's a big deal. I like Busta Rhymes and his music. He is going to be featured in Pepsi's ad during the Superbowl along with Missy Elliot, LL Cool J, and Macy Gray. It's a parody of Saturday Night Live's popular "Night at the Roxbury" skit. Check out the video here. Enjoy!
