63. The fact that people were laughing when Jack said " I warned him" is soooooo sicking!! This guy was sick and it's horrible!! He was a great actor and we all have to remember that he still has a little one that he left behind!! Jack has even made other statements about him "warning" the general public about Ambien, I think that he was refering to that statement as general, not closly related to Heath!

YIKES - have some compassion. should we really hold much stock in what jack nicholson has to say about this? not to point fingers but isn't it pretty well known that nicholson doesn't exactly shy away from drugs.....i mean, my god, every time he makes a public appearance he seems coked up. not to disrespect a hollywood legend but i think it was in bad taste and HIGHLY irresponsible for him to make a comment like this to the press.

65. Nicholson almost drove off a cliff after taking Ambien? Duh -- not supposed to operate machinery after taking a dose - including driving. Ambien is a sleep aid -- apparently Jack must have mixed up the pill bottles and thought he was taking No-Doze.

71. That is SO sad. What kind of sick, twisted mind does Jack have?? He smirks after his comment almost like he's enjoying Heaths passing. Just seeing Heaths pictures leaves an empty...painful feeling in my chest...my stomach turns just thinking about him no longer being here with us...how can people be so insensitve??? rest in peace Heath....you will live on through your family, friends, and fans.....you will never be forgotten...

72. Jack was not being an a$$hole in the light of Heaths death, many of you may not know that he truly did warn him. Jack spoke one on one with Heath about his addiction to Ambien, and how it almost killed him once. When he said "I warned him", he was speaking in reference to that. It had nothing to do with the Joker role.

Sure Heath Ledger's death is tragic, but Im sorry, I cannot feel sorry for someone who caused his own death due to an addiction. He had the power to stop and he did not.
