Medicines Found in Heath's Apartment

TMZ has confirmed two of the medications found at Heath Ledger's apartment were Xanax and Valium, both anti-anxiety drugs. Cops also found Ambien, along with several medications prescribed in Europe.

Heath's body has since been transported from the Medical Examiner's office to the Campbell Funeral Home in NY.

272. People should remember Heath Ledger as a wonderfully talented up and coming actor whos performances were always perfectly delivered or better. If you are not a member of his immediate family or close friend, you should keep your mouths and opinions shut and to yourself. Many people have medicine cabinets full of various prescription drugs for some reason or another, it does not mean that you are a junky or a suicide candidate. God bless his family, daughter and close friends. I will pray for him. He will be greatly missed.

273. 259. Thank you for making your statement to 258 regarding the racial comment. A life lost is not about Black or White, Yellow, Orange or Green, it is about LIFE. I get so SICK of people making STUPID race comments and overlooking what really matters and in this case an extraordinary young man has left us too soon. As a black female, I am LIVID that RACE even came up when it is totally irrelevant. People are people and although you are entitled to your opinion as "warped" as it may be at least try to has a little decency and respect for the family. I feel sorry for you and your lack of sensitivity. EVERYTHING IS NOT BLACK AND WHITE.....Get over it.

Rest in Peace Heath Most of US Loved You

274. This is so tragic. Seems he was a wonderful, caring human being. This sounds like a really tragic accident. I know what it is like to not be able to sleep.
I pray for his family, they must be in such pain.
God Bless Heath Ledger.

278. It came out that the massuese waited over 45 minutes to call for help after finding him... she was calling the Olsen instead. He might have been saved... the maid heard and saw him snoring a littel after 1pm... the massage appt was for 2:45, so the masseuse arrived a little before that and found him in bed. but waited. if she would have gotten help immediately... things may have been different. I'm so sad over this... he was a great person and to read some of the tributes everyday ppl left about him... well, it just seems we need angels like him here on earth more than they need them in Heaven. May the Lord bless you and keep you...

279. Xanax and Valium must be used with prescription; Ambien it's like Advil right?, anyway nevermind, the thing is that you can't mix anxiety pills with headache pills, I don't understand anything!!!! because you can have some hearth attack or something!!!!!! , It really seemed to be planned, it's sad; well he probably took several medicines to keep him dumped or stone to forget all his "problems" and suddenly "he didn't notice" that he took too much because he was desperate or he just gave up, he just couldn't take his life anymore so he decided to take all the pills and that's it, It's horrible we still have to wait the real results of what happened. I still can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

283. The real problem here people is that there are too many "QUACK" doctors over-prescribing medications to people . These so called "pain management clinics" are nothing more than LEGALIZED DRUG DEALERS!!!! Our Government and State agencies should do more to shut these places down. Many people are allowed to go to multiple doctors to get these medications with no questions asked. Not only do they get a fee for the doctor's visit, nost of them have their own pharmacies in their offices which they make the patients use so that they may profit from that as well! I lost my Uncle a year ago because he was going to multiple doctors and being over-prescribed (of course then came the addiction to the meds) and he died of an accidental overdose. Of course nobody forced him to take the meds, but the doctors are partly responsible for over-prescribing the meds. It's all about the money in their pockets, they don't care that they are killing people everyday!
