17. CNN just reported that no illegal drugs nor any residue on the $20 bill were found in the apartment......but there was a rolled up $20 bill that has not been tested yet

18. Rolled Up $20 Found Near Body...The bill would be taken to a lab for testing, though no visible drug residue was found on it, police said. NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly released the information at a Manhattan news conference, but did not elaborate on whether police think the bill, discovered on the floor near Ledger's bed, may have been used to snort drugs.

His autopsy is inconclusive...

19. drugs of this nature are, in general, used by those who are suffering from terrible emotional pain. there is no need to be saying "junkie" and so on; that is merely speculative

20. It's a terrible thing to note how many people are being systematically offed by PRESCRIPTION drugs in this country. Too bad all the fun one's have to be illegal.

21. Xanax is one of the most popular prescription drugs to abuse. It makes some people act like zombies and some will do crazy things they would normally never do and then they wont remember a thing. Poor Heath...it really bothered me to hear about his death. Another senseless loss. I feel so bad for his family.

22. Policemen/ coroner personel always collect all medications during anyone's death scene....... the corner needs to know what people were taking for toxicolgy... a person could die from drug interaction, which is common all over the world to a drug allergy......... If any normal person dies.. they will do the same thing for you 2.
The man wasn't some drugged up person.........Seems like he really needed a break from work.......
Actors must really love their work to deal with awful working hours......

23. excuse me ... #4.. just because they are prescription drugs, doesnt mean they cant be abused.. I've known lots of addicts that abused ativan, valium, and xanax.. the same withdrawls as heroin almost.

25. I have taken Ambien before and that alone can screw you up. Anyone taking that can do things without remembering it. He may not have remembered and taken more or taken something else on top of the Ambien to get to sleep. I believe it was an accidental OD. God bless his family.

26. Good Lord TMZ. Lay off this story for a greiving second, will ya?

Reporting every 10 minutes gets you into spots where you report incorrect info, like yesterday.

Wait at least an hour, get your facts STRAIGHT, and report. Amatures!

27. I lived in europe before........they don't presribe hard medications for common things as they do here........

The only thing I would worry about is different presrciptions being prescribed by different physicians interacting... As the doctors wouldn't know necessarily what you were taking...unless you mentioned it.

28. It's so sad. I'm not sure why this is bothering me so badly.
But as for the meds they found, if you come to my house you'll find the same thing, save for the europills. It's just so sad to see something like this happen to someone. Especially someone so young. (I'm just a few years younger but still, we are young people.)

30. . Who's Killing the Gay-Actors.

Heath Ledger is found dead of an apparent drug overdose in the bedroom of an apartment in New York City, a week after Brad Renfro is found dead of an apparent drug overdose in the bedroom of his apartment in Los Angeles. Both young actors gained acclaim for roles in controversial gay-themed films-- Ledger in the Academy Award-nominated Brokeback Mountain, and Renfro in Apt Pupil, Bryan Singer's Nazi movie that led to lawsuits by underage male extras who claimed they were forced into nudity. Sadly, They Die in Threes, so we await the next Marilyn Monroe-Anna Nicole style death of a young, talented male actor.

Who is Next?
