Medics: Heath's Place Looked "Normal"

Heath LedgerTMZ has learned that paramedics who first attended to Heath Ledger were interviewed by NYPD today and said the scene looked "normal" -- meaning it didn't appear as if illicit drug use had occurred.

As we reported earlier, the $20 bill found at the scene tested clean for illegal narcotics, and the numerous pill bottles were nearly full.

The exact cause of Heath's death will be determined when the toxicology results come in -- sometime in the next two weeks.

301. "None of the drugs even in combination should be lethal. I hope TMZ gets a pharmacist or MD on to clarify this. Those were all benign meds- even in combination would only produce a longer sleep."

How much research did you do on this, julie? The drugs were generic versions of Xanax, Valium and Ambien. All three are CNS (central nervous system) depressants. It is quite possible a combination of the three drugs could have caused respitory arrest. Drugs aren't necassarily safer because they are prescription. Celebrities are often able to obtain prescriptions for anything they desire.

302. heath ledger was a one of a kind actor and one of a kind person who will be dearly missed i have followed his career from when he was just starting out until his lastest film i am so sorry that i will not be able to see the work he could have done in the future and is so sad, my heart goes out to his family and friends at this horrible time he will be missed deeply only one star like him comes around once in a lifetime and now sadly he is gone. i would like to know if the godfather of his child jake glyenhall will be either at his service or funeral to say goodbye to his dear friend? heath will always be around watching over his child he is no longer here but he will never be forgotten his movies will live on and his memory i just wish i would have gotten the opportunity to meet him i was a very big fan and always will be.

305. His apartment looked normal because the assistant/maid - massasue cleaned up before paramedics or police showed up. People around him knew he was self-destructing but if you say no to these self-important entertainers then you will be kicked out the circle and off the money train. He was probably a good person but a weak person. Everyone can now say I hope lessons are learned but we all know they will not be. God Bless his heart and soul
