Medics: Heath's Place Looked "Normal"

Heath LedgerTMZ has learned that paramedics who first attended to Heath Ledger were interviewed by NYPD today and said the scene looked "normal" -- meaning it didn't appear as if illicit drug use had occurred.

As we reported earlier, the $20 bill found at the scene tested clean for illegal narcotics, and the numerous pill bottles were nearly full.

The exact cause of Heath's death will be determined when the toxicology results come in -- sometime in the next two weeks.

76. I'm still so sad and SHOCKED about Heath's passing... so sad. Poor guy! I feel terrible for his family and for his daugther and for Michelle. I can't wait to hear how this ends - the final findings of the autopsy and all the details rather then the sketchie and not so accurate stuff coming out over the past 2 days. RIP Heath! My prayers are with your family and friends.

86. Shame on you TMZ. You post this under RIP, please. If you really wanted him to rest in peace, you wouldn't post something until it was a fact. Just because you put "story developing..." at the end doesn't excuse the fact that you are putting horrible thoughts into the heads of his fans. If all of the reports come back that it was an accidentall overdose, and I am sure they will, I hope when Matilda grows up she never sees anything like what you have posted about her father. I know that there are alot of drugs in Hollywood, but they are everywhere. And I have never seen any stories about Heath Ledger having any sort of substance abuse problems, until after his death and on your website. If you really want someone to RIP...Let them!

ANY combination of these drugs can be lethal drug combining of 2 or more drugs with sedative effects exponentially increases their effects. it shuts down the respiratory center in your brain. you just supress the brains breathing command center, any of these drugs can be lethal.

88. I DON'T BELIEVE ANY ONE PERSON IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HEATH'S DEATH, BUT i DO BELIEVE THAT HE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ALONE. HIS HOUSEKEEPER SHOULD HAVE CHECKED ON HIM SOONER, OR MICHELLE WILLIAMS SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE....SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE FOR HIM, HE DIDN'T HAVE TO DIE ALONE.
