Amy Enters Rehab -- No? No? Yes!

Jimmy crack corn! Amy Winehouse has voluntarily checked herself into a rehab center, according to her record label.

Universal says Winehouse needs "specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards." Amy met with her record label, management, family and doctors today to discuss her treatment options.

The news comes just days after grainy video of Winehouse allegedly smoking crack made its way around the Internet.

47. Did she dye her hair back to brunette? Or is she wearing a wig. No matter, she should just pull a 'Britney' and shave it all off, start witha clean slate!

52. #11 -- Re your comment about #4, Michelle, being a dumbazz. You're the dumbazz. She makes PERFECT SENSE. The key to accomplishing ANYTHING is in your head before anything else.

Amy, I hope you WANT to be clean and I hope you want to live to share your gift with the world. You are one of the most exciting new talents to come along in a long time. You have a family who is fighting for you and friends and fans around the world who are also fighting for you. You just need to fight for yourself. You can do it, Girl.

55. This was great news to hear about Amy, she was a freaking mess for quite some time. And with her husband being in jail, she can concentrate on getting herself better. As for the idiot that took the crack smoking video, that was probably the best thing you could have done for her, but I am sure that your motives weren't in Amy's best interest. Dirty money never does anyone any good. Hopefully you don't get a bad bag with the proceeds from the video.

56. This poor child is also suffering from a nervous breakdown before our very eyes, just like Britney. In more sane times, these chicks would have been put in either a mental facility for evaluation or a sanitarium to cleanse them of their drug addictions and to provide them a peaceful place to rest and reflect. This girl clearly needs to get rid of her jailbird boyfriend who it seems is a major bad influence, yet there she is writing silly love letters to the criminal. In the end, this is what fame and fortune bring to those who should never have that privilege, for they abuse it by spending the ill-gotten gains on drugs, alchohol, sex and much more vulgarity. She and her drunk/druggie contemporaries will ultimatley suffer the fate of Anna Nicole if they are not cared for under psychiatric care immediatley.

57.

Going into rehab is a start. Amy is probably going to be in and out of rehab for the indefinite future. Very few people are able to kick their addictions the first time through rehab. It has to be a life-long dedication, lived sometimes on a minute-to-minute decision to remain clean.

I wish her strength and health.
