Jessica Says There's B.S. in OK!

Jessica Simpson is fighting mad about an OK! magazine article about her relationship with Tony Romo -- and she's called in the dogs -- aka, her lawyers.

Jess is pissed over an article titled "Jessica Dumped!" that appeared in the February 4 issue of the mag. The article claims Tony dumped Jessica after his team was eliminated from the NFL playoffs. Simpson's attorneys say the article is "utterly false" and "is based on nothing more than rumor, gossip and innuendo." The article also claims Jessica's sister Ashlee has attempted to "distance herself" from her sis. The lawyers say that's B.S. too.

Simpson's lawyers have sent a letter to OK!'s Editor-in-Chief, Sarah Ivens, claiming OK!'s article is bogus, adding that Jess and Tony are still together and that Ashlee and Jessica remain close. The attorneys say the article reflects a "smear campaign" and has subjected Simpson to "public contempt, ridicule, aversion or disgrace."

The lawyers want OK! to "immediately publish a prominent and unambiguous" retraction.

234. I feel sorry for her. She never gets a chance because the world lines up to crucify her. I am also suspect of Mr. Romo. Seemed like he dated her when it was convenient for her, then buckled under pressure from his peers. Of course, I'm speculating, but if he didn't really have feelings for her, why date her for so long? Don't blame Jessica for all of this. She can't help it that she desperately wants to find love.

As for all of the nasty comments from people here regarding Ms. Simpson, I don't know what else to say other than being perfect must be such a burden to you all

She needs to date a regular guy. Someone who's not a celebrity. Someone who will give her the dedication and affection that she deserves. The problem is since the media treats her only as eye-candy (constantly questioning her intelligence), the poor woman doesn't stand a chance.

I wonder how many people, if they truly look within, are nothing but jealous of her.

His interest in his daughter's life is so eerie. It is not normal for a father to set up relationships for their daughter, and then run their relationships. I think joe wants to screw his daughter. 238. Its pathetic that Jess is suing a magazine over a breakup. If the rumor was false, Tony Romo, who is a nice guy, would have stood up for Jess and told all of America that the Rumor was false. I have a gut feeling the rumor happens to be true because Tony has not spoken up. Jess has to be completely out of her mind to sue for the truth. Tony dumped her because she is not the girl next door, she is high maintenance diva who wants to get her hands on millions because her own career is thru. She is not laughing all the way to the bank. That is why she needs a rich quarterback. Her jewelry line sucks, the jewelry looks like is was meant for 10 year olds. Her shoe lines are hooker shoes, and her purses look like her designers copied guess handbags. Believe me, none of us are jealous of a no talented, publicity seeking, hack. 240. You cant tell me J. S. does not give her goods out since Nick! Romo SUCKED through DEC /Jan. The NFC CHAMPIONSHIP was PLAYED by 2 teams Dallas had already beaten!!
