31. MsFanni I dont think Amy is doing this out of her own decision. She was caught on tape doing crack or whatever and has a show to do soon. People (like record companies) make the artists do this. I remember a certain big rapper telling me how he got busted for pot and then had to go around to schools talking against drugs to kids acting like he was clean to help his reputation. He was telling me this while he was smoking a "blunt".

Also Courtney Love was "clean" in the press and I watched her get smashed 2 nights in a row in a studio at that time.


HEATH chose drugs and whatever broke him and his childs mother up OVER his daughter.

35. Heath must have been a wonderful man and a great actor . Even though I would have never in my life had the chance to met him, since I am from a very small town so far removed from the Hollywood scene ,I mourn the person I got to know through his work and his public life. The world has lost a great soul. Rumors of drug use doesn't change my view on what a great father he was to his daughter and it doesn't change my views on what a great man and actor too. 42. I had wondered if Daniel Day-Lewis would make a comment. DDL is known for being a method actor and I believe Heath Ledger followed the same practice. From the clips we've heard from Heath himself, the role of the Joker was very disturbing to him. Maybe this is true empathy on Daniel's part as he too must surely know what it is to get into the darkest corners of a character.

44. Reason.. There are so many cases of celebrities "being clean" when they really aren't it is a sad, sad state that Hollywood is in. We unfortunantlty it will continue to see deaths lke this. they won't stop. We will continue to loose great artist. It is very sad to see a young life taken in such a way. Elvis, Kirc Cobain, Chris Farley, Jim Belushi the list goes on and on.

there are people all over this planet that live daily with illness and death and war. Somehow they survive and take care of their children that need them.

The LAST thing I want to hear is how "tragic" this all is and how it somehow relates to poor poor Heath taking on the JOKER charachter. How tough and unfortunate it must be to get paid millions to PRETEND for a living.
