In 2003, Barbara wrote a self-help guide for single people called, "Living Alone and Loving It."
Anne Hathaway will play Agent 99 in the Summer '08 big screen version of "Get Smart," co-starring Steve Carell.

My friend helped her get a start in the business - or so he says... They were living in the same building in NYC back in the 50s, had gotten together every so often, as friends, for drinks or coffee. One day she came to him and was saying how hard things were becoming for her. No breaks, running out of money, etc... He suggested that she try entering a game show... if nothing else she could win a few much needed bucks to help get her through the rough times of the moment. Sure enough she took his advice and from what I understand she won big! A couple of months later my friend took off for Europe and didn't return to NYC until a year later. By that time Barbara had moved on to other things in another part of the city and the two of them never saw each other again. Over the years my friend's done very well for himself, as did Barbara. Both in total opposite professions. He's 75 now as well and has often talked fondly about her. I wonder if she'd even remember him now. Funny how life moves on, huh? Barbara looks great! Life has been very kind to her.

She's freaking glowing, totally beautiful! She's still got a great vibe and natural sexiness to her. Listen, every hot little 19 year old chickee babe is eventually going to be 25 - or 35, or 75 if they're lucky. Every stud and babe is aging at the exact same rate as everyone over 40 - one day at a time. Nobody gets out of that reality called 'aging' - so the issue is really how can you help yourself as naturally as possible to be as vital for as long as possible. I know TMZ loves to belittle people who were considered hot in their day but are just alive and older now. Can we see a close-up of Harvey's eye bags? How about in a Speedo? Something tells me we won't.
