After fighting with "Valerie" producers in 1987, Harper's character was killed off, Sandy Duncan was cast, and the show was retitled "Valerie's Family: The Hogans." The following year, the show was retitled "The Hogan Family."

Valerie is also an advocate for hormone-replacement therapy.

FUNNY GIRL BUT THE PRODUCERS DIDENT SEE IT THAT WAY WHEN THEY WERE OVERWHELMED BY HER INPUT. THAT SAID SHE WAS A BIG PART OF WHAT MADE THE MARY TYLER SHOW WORK. SHE HELD HER OWN .

She has had an eye lift, her lids are higher now then when she was young and some plastic done also. That is not "Natural Aging". Natural aging is doing nothing....comon people, wake up!

Get the damned teeth fixed woman. The wrinkles won't show up nearly as much with some porcelain veneers and a hell of a lot cheaper than a facelift.
