Lets Get This Party Started
Heath's Masseuse Made Four Calls to MK

The masseuse who found Heath Ledger's body actually made four calls to Mary-Kate Olsen when she discovered that Ledger wasn't breathing, say cops.

The AP reports that Diana Wolozin spent nine minutes ringing MK before she called 911. The celebutwin's bodyguards showed up to the scene just as the police did.

Today, Ledger's family will arrive in New York for a viewing at a Manhattan funeral home.

Dude Tries to Crash Miley Gig – With Plane?

A teenager from northern California was nabbed by the Feds after he allegedly wanted to crash a flight from L.A. -- into a Miley Cyrus concert.

The unnamed 16-year-old had handcuffs, duct tape, rope and other items with him on the flight Tuesday, and though there was no incident on the plane, the FBI says he had a plan to hijack the jet. "He had some general plans where he was going and indicated where he wanted to die."

Even though Nashville media have reported that the plane was going to be directed to Lafayette, La. to interrupt a Miley Cyrus concert, it seems that the concert was scheduled for today, not Tuesday.

Star Tells Media – Back Off Heath!

Star Jones -- who knows something about being hounded by the media -- is telling the media that they should "shut their mouths and stop all the speculation that's been running rampant."

In a column on the Huffington Post, Star says that the media should "let [the family] grieve" and that Michelle Williams is "trying to figure out how to explain to their little girl that she will never see her daddy again."

She adds that the scene outside Ledger's SoHo apartment the other night "made me sick to my stomach."

Party Favors: David Beckham Not -- Repeat Not -- a Threat to Environment

So that item floating around about David Beckham having a huge carbon footprint? Turns out, we're told, that the Carbon Trust never made such an allegation, and that the whole thing was a hoax, so says the Carbon Trust itself.

32. Number one, what the hell is Star doing commenting? Is she personal friends with him? Then shut up bitch. Number two, posting this under "let's get the party started" is rude, offensive and inappropriate and you all look like idiots for having someone having to point that out to you. Number three, that idiot in his hotel room should have called 911. Just because someone is unresponsive doesn't mean they are dead. He could have had a pulse. Second are precious when there is something going on. Bitch probably doesn't have her green card and poor Heath died because of her assanine procrastination. The scene outside the hotel was shameful. I don't need to see his body in a bag. Just knowing the poor man died was enough and someone needs to stop these idiots.

33. Amen Star! (Who'd have thunk it ~ she's right for once!)

Leave this man to RIP and his family to grieve! TMZ I love ya and everything.......but let's let this funeral go off with no webcams/ paps snapping pics/ people trying to interview mourners.....please.

Parents have lost a son and Matilda has lost a Daddy.......let them alone for a day.

34. She ( the masseuse ) called Mary Kate at the suggestion of the housekeeper who was aware that Heath and Mary Kate were very close friends and assumed that Mary Kate was in New York, not California, because at first she thought that Heath was only unconscious, not dead. A few moments later when they realized he was not breathing they immediately called 911 but Mary Kate had already contacted her security team and sent them to Heath's residence.

As for what Star Jones said, I completely agree with her. Let the family grieve in peace. They lost a father, son, brother, lover, someone that they loved,

Imagine the person that you love more than anything in this world, if they were being treated like Heath. A frenzy of media descending upon you like rabid animals, defiling your loved one with the worst possible things that they can say about them, how would you feel?

This isn't a person who had been arrested for DUI's and begged his mommy in court to "fix it" so he wouldn't have to go to jail, or someone so drunk that they wrecked and killed someone, no, he wasn't one of those pathetic celebrities, he had no history of drunken or drugged mayhem.

He was a father who walked around Brooklyn teaching his daughter her left from right.

35. TMZ, you guys are acting completely classLESS. let the man rest in peace. let his family deal with their loss. stop trying to make money off of this tragedy. pathetic.

36. Masseuse is dumber than her hair. If you live in New York and are a regular patron of a masseuse, you might want to check credentials REALLY well next time. This one is too stupid to eat.

40. I totally agree with Star Jones. Heath Ledgers story can be told without close up pictures of his family grieving. Leave them alone. You too Harvy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

41. ...her teensy weensy stomach??

C'mon, Star, this is your stock in trade. You can't fool us.

42. I totally agree. I think unfortunately paperazzi will do anything for the "FIRST PICTURE" of anything, and if it means stooping to try and get a picture of a grieving widow/ex-widow they will do it. I think they need to crawl back into the hole they came from and get REAL JOBS!!!

43. 25. I wanna know why she would call Mary Kate why didn't she call 911 right away or try to perform cpr on him? How much time lapsed. Ummmm 35 minutes did before she called 911. By doing what was supposed to be done may or may not have helped him but at least she couldv'e tried. It makes me so madd. I know that people freak out when things like this happen but there were 2 people there and something should have been done. If I were his paerents you better believe that I would be doing some serious questioning. I am just so madd about this.

------------------------------------------------

If you were capable of reading a real news source outside TMZ, you will see it was 19 minutes between the time the first call to MK was made and the time the paramedics pronounced him (ie were in the house, defib'ed, CPR, etc). She also did attempt CPR (again, read a REAL news source before you run your mouth, not just TMZ who is not known for their accuracy). The plain and simple fact is he was probably *obviously* dead -- why rush to call an emergency service? It wouldn't have brought him back. Masseuses may be has some medical knowledge, but I doubt their trained on what to do if you find the celebrity you're working for dead.

44. When a beloved public figure dies, the public usually goes to a place to leave letters. flowers, a makeshift memorial. They did it with every loved actor, singer etc. And yes the media will be there. I see nothing wrong with that.

It just shows that he was larger and more beloved public figure than people had anticipated.

If no one showed up ... now that would be sad.

Of course I'm saying all this is OK within limits. The limit is to remember speculation is not fact. And the media when approaching Heath's friends should tread lightly and back off when told to do so.

Otherwise, lets not get too self righteous about the all the activity around Heath's apartment. There is an aspect of flattery in the attention he's getting. If he was a mediocre and disliked actor, things would be a lot quieter around that apartment block.

Having said that, I send my condolences to his family and close friends. Heath's death is truly tragic.
