Is Clemens Ready for His "Moment of Truth"?

The most popular new show on television is giving former Yankee pitcher Roger Clemens a chance to clear his good name -- and he can pocket a cool half mil in the process!

The FOX show "The Moment of Truth" -- which premiered to 23 million people on Wednesday -- sent a letter to the Rocket's manager, asking Roger to appear. Contestants on the show are asked a series of questions while hooked up to a polygraph machine -- and then have to own up to their answers in front of an audience comprised of their friends and relatives.

Howard Schultz, creator and Exec. Producer of the show, says Roger can put the steroids question to rest once and for all -- and donate his winnings to the charity of his choice. Schultz writes, "People have stood in awe at your incredible accomplishments in baseball. This show could let the world know that you are an incredibly courageous person, as well as to clear your name in front of a nationwide audience, all in the name of charity."

Calls to Clemens' management were not immediately returned.

What about Hispanic/Black/Asian Elisabeth?

And no, we won't leave him alone. He's been a prima donna for years now - which was forgiven/excused because of his talent. To find out the talent may have been drug induced is something that needs to be clarified.

I understand that drugs and pro sports will be connected for years to come but its a shame. These above-average performers who have taken drugs to get to where they are today are taking the spot of non-drug users.

20. Very few people get better after they turn 40 years old. Roger is in a bad situation, because he has lied and he knows he's lied. Andy Pettit was honest about some of the stuff and Roger is holding on to that lie, just like Barry Bonds, Mark Mcguire and a few others.

22. There is a reason that Lie Detector Tests are not admissable in Court... they are not accurate. So why would he take a chance on doing this when there is even a 1% chance it could be inaccurate? I don't think he's stupid enough to even consider it. I wouldn't.

23. Of course he's a juicer. It was obvious when he went from so-so his last year in Boston to fantastic when he got to Toronto. He couldn't stand that he was a has-been and all the testimony has him starting the 'roids then. He will always have the record for most strikeouts in a game cause that game was before he started using but I have my doubts about the second. If he'd fessed up like Andy Pettitte and Brian Roberts, this would have blown over by now but he had to keep up the lie. He was a great player when he was young but he tried to keep throwing heat when he should have gone to finesse. BTW, there are a lot of great white baseball players. The fact that Clemens is white is no more relevant than Bonds being black. There are great players of all races and ethnicities in baseball. Join the real world and stop being a bigot.
