Mary-Kate Story Bogus

Heath LedgerThere is a newspaper and internet report out that the NYPD wants to question Mary-Kate Olsen in connection with the death of Heath Ledger. It is absolutely false.

High-up sources at the NYPD tell us there is "absolutely no plan" to interview Mary-Kate. One source said the investigation is pretty "buttoned up" and the department is now waiting for the toxicology report, which could determine cause of death.

31. Proof that Heath was a dope fiend and Mary Kate cleaned up his apartment! If he's a dope fiend it'll show up in the toxicology report. It is strange that the masseuse called MK before 911 and also very stupid. She probably knew though that he was already dead.

32. I WANT TO SEND MYCONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY TO A GREAT ACTOR. BUT ONE THING IS WHY CALL AN OLESON TWIN WHEN THE LADY SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLING 911 BEFORE ANYONE. IF I WAS IN THAT SITUATION I WOULD NOT BEING GOING INTO HIS CELLPHONE TO SEE WHO I SHOULD CALL. WHY HER SHE DID NOT RUSH OVER TO GIVE HIM CPR?

34. A lot of you are missing the point. The masseuse called the Full House girl before calling 911. Who does that, unless you wish to hide something. I know what she was thinking. She wanted to call & make sure that everything was ok before calling the Cops. Thats criminal behavior to me.

36. As I read these post all the pain of my loss 2 years ago comes rushing back.. The "friend" who found my daughter called a friend first, not 911- I was just down the street and they didn't call me first..So yes there is always the "would they be here if 911 was called first" This is a family who's lives will never be the same, a mother who's heart is broken forever..A hole that will be there until her dying day. I know I have it.
As for where was the family, how many kids tell the family everything they do? Most try to keep the addictions away from family members. My daughter knew I would have done ANYTHING to help her. We were close but I had no idea she was mis-using a prescribed medication. My life is forever ruined, I will never have the happiness I once did. The family will be asking themselves for the rest of thier lives, what could I have done? No matter what kind of parents you are, never say never.
Good kids die from drugs too. it doesn't just happen to someone who looks like a drug addict, it happens to everyday people.
My daughter had a good job, was smart beautiful, someone people never would have expected to die from anything like this.
It is just a tragedy. Always let your love ones know how much you love them, let your kids know that the love for them is unconditional-
The family really needs to be left alone to grieve-Give these parents support and prayers and most of space. They lost thier son. A loss the will nver recover from.

37. This is all so sad for all of us that we die. All of us have that ability to make a fatal mistake that will end it. How does a healthy man start his day eating a normal breakfast and buying groceries, he is alive at 1pm, pronounced dead at 3:39 pm, and in a body bag by 6:30pm? You're thinking man I did not think my day was gonna turn out like this. How did I end up in this black bag? So final. Did he know he was dying while laying there? It is so tragic. I am sorry. I needed to vent. I cannot wrap my brain around it. One second your alive and know you are struggling then you pass. Like a big game over label on a video game screen you know you lost and you're like - Death sucks! I chose to picture him in a park on the other side playing chess and whispering softly to his family I am ok. May his family find the peace that I am sure this man has found on the other side.

38. It doesn't make sense for a cover up because the tox results will show cocaine, etc.

39. My heart breaks for Michelle, she did do the right thing protecting her daughter. I hope I would have the courage and support if I was in her shoes.

40. all the stories about this man's death are bogus, why not wait until the facts come out instead of writing false reports over and over and over again? Professionalism?

I never heard that, would love it if you could cite something prior to his death that he had a drug problem, I've only heard this rumor since he died, and usually it's from "sources" whoever that liar is

Sorry for your loss, hon. I couldn't imagine losing a child, and hope you are ok after all that has happened.

44.

TMZ is the one who started the majority of the false rumours in the first place. Sometimes they start them just so they can turn around and refute them, hoping it will appear as though they actually do serious investigation. Luckily, most members of the public can see right through it, especially after this week.

45. Two things jump out at me in relation to this story - "prescription drugs" and "had been treated for pnemonia." (I read of the bout with pnemonia in more than one account. None said how recent the illness had been, but I would think it would have to be within the last week or so to have been mentioned at all.) It seems obvious to me that the man was sick and just trying to get some relief from his symptoms so he could get some sleep. If he'd been a drug user in the past, he probably (erroneously) thought he had a higher tolerance for medication and could or should take more. A friend lost his roommate several years ago in the exact same way. The roommate was very sick with a bad cold, flu, or whatever, and desperate for some relief of his symptoms. He started playing fast and loose with prescription meds and OTC meds - some Nyquil, a couple of Tylenol w/ Codeine, maybe a warm brandy or two, etc. My friend came home from work and found his roommate sleeping on the couch. He thought it was great that the guy was finally able to get some sleep - he'd been so sick and miserable for days. My friend went to bed and woke to find his roommate had died in his sleep. I feel sure that's exactly what happened to Heath Ledger. It's sad, it's tragic, but it's not criminal or "sleazy junkie behavior" or even all that out of the ordinary.
