R.I.P.
Mary-Kate Story Bogus

Heath LedgerThere is a newspaper and internet report out that the NYPD wants to question Mary-Kate Olsen in connection with the death of Heath Ledger. It is absolutely false.

High-up sources at the NYPD tell us there is "absolutely no plan" to interview Mary-Kate. One source said the investigation is pretty "buttoned up" and the department is now waiting for the toxicology report, which could determine cause of death.

47. Here's the important lesson, make sure your meds are dispensed by a single pharmacy so any possible drug interactions are brought to your attention. Same issue with Anna Nicole Smith if you remember. Its a tragic situation regardless.

#32 I'm very sorry for your loss too. I'm a parent of 3 and can't fathom the loss of a child.

49. Why can't you guys get better pictures of Heath? It's like you choose the shadiest, grainest looking picture for every story about him. You all are truely heartless and classless. Let the man rest in peace.

50. I totally agree with #22...I wonder what she was thinking or doing instead of calling 911 first, even if he had already passed. The masseuse should be questioned.

53. I am so saddened of course by the death of this young man who could be my son. I, too, do not sleep more than one hour at a time, due to pain. I take morphine, percocet, antidepressants, zanax and I used to take amytriptiline but I weaned myself off of that because it really scared me. I do not take more than the dosage allows and especially before bed. I sleep about 45 minutes out of 1 hr and pain from osteoarthritis and nerve damage in spine wakes me. i am really never out of pain. I can see how this accident happened because you just feel like you cannot go on being so exhausted. I was just getting ready to ask my physician if he thought I should take ambien or something like it. The day of my appointment was the day Heath died. I did not ask for sleeping pills, and won't. I usually get up for the day by 4a.m. When I wake every hour I feel like I could get up then but force myself to try to go back to sleep. If I do get up I get on my computer and usually after a few hours I can lay down again. Sorry this is so long but I want everyone to know insomnia is hell no matter what the reason, or age, and I hope we can learn from this and not take too many because we feel they are not working.
I feel for his family; I do not know what I would do if it was my son.

54.

People keep posting comments here speculating as to why the masseuse called Heath's friend before calling 911, yet I seriously doubt very many of these comment-makers have ever been in that situation. The officials in the case have already come out and said that he was dead already, so the first thing to remember is that it would not have saved him.

Secondly, the masseuse may very well have thought she was protecting him in some way from some type of embarrassment, because nowadays, with the ultra-intrusive nature of the media vultures (like TMZ), unfortunately it may be a reality in the celebrity world that the first knee-jerk reaction of people in these sorts of situations is "oh my gosh, how is this going to look in the tabloids." It's possible that even though he was cold to the touch, the masseuse may have thought he was passed out from partying all night or something. Who knows what all she's seen in her time working for celebs.

Bottom line, none of us knows all the particulars, so just leave it to the professionals to sort it all out. If law enforcement decides to look further into it, they will. But they are the ones (not gawkers like us) who have the best set of information, and they have already said that he was dead before she even entered the room. Celebrity deaths always bring out the bizarre "theories," this is not new. Off the top of my head---Judy Garland, Cass Elliott, Natalie Wood, Brandon Lee, and so on, and so on, and there are still "theories" and urban legends floating around today about these deaths.

55. I'm sure that everyone has been questioned but the nypd is very hush-hush because the family just wants to bury their son. Once that is done, the truth will come out about the roles these STUPID women played. It is possible that the masseuse massages MK Olsen as well. It be that there is a drug connection between MK and Ledger that the masseuse is aware of. MK is aweful skinny and that is what coke does to a person....! I know that with certain anti depressants such as Cymbalta, can not be combined with coke (it says so in the warning section) Fortunately, the child will not be around addictive behavior anymore, if that was the case. SOOOOOOOOOOO sad.

56. When something this heartbreaking, senseless and tragic happens, everyone tries to immediately make it something else. This was a tragic, horrific, accident. That's all. There is no way this guy took his own life, there is no "cover-up". It sounds like the guy had many various medicines prescribed to him and I am sure this is an ACCIDENTAL overdose, it was totally unintentional. My poor grandmother got all "sideways" on her meds and they were all DOCTOR PRESCRIBED. She was on a total of 14 things, some of them redundant (had some of the same ingredients) as others when she accidentially OD'ed and didn't even realize it. We got her to the hospital and they saved her and then the doctors acted like, Oh, WELL WE didn't realize she was also taking this and that.....

My heart goes out to his family, friends, and colleagues. He was a true talent and a "one-of-a-kind. I hope his little girl will always know how special he was and how much he was loved.

57. I would not normally comment on this gossip website, but I felt I need to put in some works of logic. I dont know why the people aroung Heath would not call 911. Almost everyone knows to call 911 when something is wrong. Even kids know when you find someone in distress you pick up the phone and call 911......even some dogs are trained to do this too. I hope this will enlighten those people out there to call for an ambulance next time something like this happens. It is such a sad loss and you never know if this could have been prevented.

When the Olson twins were on Full House, they always reminded me of infant Orangutans. They looked just like them.

60. MK, orangutan, coke addict, confidant, whatever she is, she should come out to the public with a statement about why the masseuse called her before calling the police! Like a chimp hanging from a tree branch she's up a tree w/ out a ladder or a net.
