The Last Straw in Brit's Invalid License Case

106. 95. somebody mentioned britney with a "british accent"..now, what i am curious about is why do you americans always refer to english accents like this?.its not accurate..is it to do with the war of independence?.because there are several accents in the uk and they are very individual.. you have the scottish accent,(the actress in ugly betty the welsh accent (catherine zita jones ), the english accent,(kate winslet , samantha morton, jude law, etc.. ) these are genuine and unforced. Americans cant do english accents, let alone regional variations of it..when they do get it right, you have to respect it.. i once sat thru an excruciating rendition of a "british accent" by one who should have known better on the big screen i felt embarrassed for him. its easier for english actors to imitate americans and even their regional accents..brit brit is not on that list of americans that can do english like the english.. madonna does her best but, you cant get the new jersey turnpike out of it..why do americans react to it the way we dont react to yanks over here.? no one mentions americans and their accents and no one gives a monkeys anyway. but americans always have something to say about english accents. god knows i heard enough of it up close and personal. it gets to the stage you just dont talk anymore when you are around americans...its either curiosity or extreme rudness i have experienced both on many past visits.. do any of you understand the concept of travel outside your country?. maybe its the educational system that doesnt teach world history..

I can't speak for everyone else, but I would find it extremely offensive that she is slaughtering the British accent and making it sound very dumb (which it is not). I love a British accent and hearing her talk like that ruins it for me. It would be like her talking in a New York accent....I would find that offensive because she "dumbs down" everything she says and does. So don't take offense to us commenting on her fake "British" accent, take offence to her doing such a horrible imitation!

109. BRITNEY....... This girl is such Trailer Park Trash!!! AKA....TPT with not even an inch of class! One would think with all that is going on in her life, she would stay out of the public eye for a while and give up that loser she is dating. The girl is truley STUPID!!!

110. Good thing my sister is not a California judge. Miss Britney would be in a locked down prison cell till a jury deemed her safe to herself and the public.
P.S. The jury would not be a jury of Brtney fans or friends.
