JOHNNY DEPP HAS ALREADY BEEN ASKED BY TERRY GILLIAN TO REPLACE LEDGER IN HIS FINAL ROLE ...........

They were just 6 weeks away from wrapping production on "Imaginarium of Dr. P." when Heath died. They plan on a script change to "explain" the change in Ledger's character's look. At one point in the film Heath's character falls through a magic mirror. It is here that Depp will take over emerging from the mirror.

18. Christie, I agree. Losing my father at 2, I have no memories of him and with a 2 year old of my own now, it's really a heavy thing to digest.

It is so sad Matilda will never see her father again.His family's loss has shaken the world,We never expect celebrities to die especially like this.But at the same time there are terrible people walking the streets who deserve to die.He did not deserve this his family didn't need this. as they say ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG. Really? I am so glad his work in this movie won't be lost to all us fans. Also, from what I've read, it sounded like a really interesting movie I wanted to go see. I was upset I would miss out on this final performance of his. I would like to think Heath would'bve been glad they were going on with the filming.
Also, I never liked Nicholson's take on The Joker. After watching the trailer for "The Dark Knight" I can't wait to see Heath's brilliant interpretation of this character!

28. I absolutely hated that Heath Ledger abused drugs. But I only learned that after his death.
It doesn't change one whit, the fact that I loved and still love this man.
Reason? His absolutely unforgettable turn as Ennis Del Mar, and having seen it multiple times, I learned and am committed to learning how to love my fellow human beings, for the rest of my life! I will work and practice toward that end, every day!

There's a song from "Brokeback Mountain" soundtrack, (which I've played sometimes several times a week; but at least weekly ever since the movie's release), that goes, "I don't want to say, goodbye"; that is exactly the way I feel.

Once the tears have dried; the memories will be great comfort. There will always be the work he did; And oh, the message: To Love My Fellow Human Beings, regardless!

Yes, I feel the pain
A reminder
That love will sometimes hurt

A feeling of such intensity
I can scarcely believe
It possible
To not know
Someone
To grieve; yet
feel such content.

29. I’m shocked and sickened by the New York Post reporting that the New York City Police have dropped trying to question Mary Kate Olsen over the death of Heath Ledger. I always knew the NYPD was corrupt ( I mean they are guilty of racial and economical profiling, they shoot unarmed people- Shawn Bell and the guy with the hair brush, and they always have an excuse for their actions). If Mary Kate were a poor black person she would have been questioned long ago, but her money and lawyers pressure stopped the police cold; and I‘m a middle class Caucasian saying this. Heath was a great actor and humanitarian. Too bad Mary Kate was not the one lying there dying while morons like her, the masseuse, and housekeeper playing games. It has been reported that between finding him and finally calling 911, 16 minutes lapsed. What if 911 was called right away and CPR started right away?? Heath may still be alive. What ever killed Heath, I blame these ladies just as much. Mary Kate never once told the masseuse to dial 911, only that “Her security was on the way” and “To wait for her security“. What was this jerks reasoning. I hope someday she is in the position Heath was in and others react the exact same way she did and let her die. Heath did a lot for New York and was a great actor who brought happiness to many with his acting. What has this child star Mary Kate done in the last few years?? Drink, party, chain smoke, sleep around, drop out of college, and just been another Hollywood waste of space like Brittney Spears. We all need to put pressure on the NYPD, and law enforcement period, to stop these Hollywood rich brats from getting special treatment. I hope Hollywood blacklists Mary Kate, and somehow Heath’s family can sue her for everything she has. Heath was a human being, a father, a son, and a brother. These 3 ladies may have been able to save him but because of their negligence we will never know. Duh, someone is unconscious, don’t call 911, instead call a security team and make sure he is good and dead for sure- get a brain Mary Kate. Now little Matilda will grow up without a father, his parents will never get over the loss of losing their son, and we all lost a spectacular actor who was just in the dawn of a great career. On top of everything else, Heath and his loved ones will not have justice because the NYPD bows to another rich kid lawyers pressure while Mary Kate goes on to enjoy her life, smoke her ciggies, and party like Heath never existed. No words can express just what an injustice this is!!

He was not a drug abuser either illicit or presciption. The papparazz posted all sorts of wild stories within minutes of his death, which are being confirmed by the authorities to be untrue.
It is a shame that a good and decent man like Heath was raked over the coals within just hours of his death. Sadder yet is that people believe these lies. The truth will come out in the autopsy that Heath did NOT abuse drugs.
Just as the truth is out there that one should consider the source before believing it as fact or fiction. TMZ and the other gossip rags are not fact based. But, low life roaches that fabricate stories to make a fast buck!!
