Well, the reason for the exposure here is it's an entertainment site. Truely great people die every day, it is sad that they don't seem to get the recognition, however, we don't feel like we know these people as much as we know the entertainers. If a nobel prize winner came into my house (via TV) and made me laugh and cry, I'd be mourning that person too.

I don't think Heath would want to have the public memorial since he was a private man and a simple person...It is better to have his immediate family and the close friends to share the private moments of Heath Ledger together... Let him rest in peace being not famous now, only simple Heath!...To God, Heath is just a brother,and gave the good acting gift to the public through his work, his caring/compassionate for his friends and his love for his immediate family and Williams and Matlida Rose..

55. I am sooooooo sick of this story and the feeding frenzy surrounding it. When did we as a country become so celebrity obssessed? I admit I was sucked in too. But let's review the facts, he's dead, it's tragic and it happens everyday. Regardless of how he died, it doesn't change the outcome and frankly how and why he died is really none of our business period! Furthermore, if he was as shy and unassuming as the media has reported why do they continue to dishonor him by showing footage of him (Heath) being carted out on a gurney in a body bag in Manhattan. That will truly be his "final film" and what a disgrace for him and his loved ones. Yes, he was a talented, hot young guy but let's allow him to rest in peace and leave his family to grieve privately. Finally, let's stop getting on TMZ and start getting a life. That's my challenge to all who reads this. This is my final blog on TMZ. Don't let them bring us down and I mean way down to their level. We used to respect people in this country and it starts with you. Sorry if I sound preachy I've just had enough.

58. 33. His poor taste in women amazes me. This guy is amazingly smart and talented, yet chooses to bed Lindsey Lohan and MaryKate Olsen, how can ANYONE respect a man that does that? You will NEVER see Johnny Depp even 10 feet near that Lohan ho bag. Why did he tarnish his reputation this way?

Maybe you don't see Johnny with these women because he is in a serious relationship with 2 children. Remember he dated Winona Ryder and Kate Moss. (Both are pretty missed up.) You really do not know what type of relathionship Heath had with them and really none of your business.

Truly great people die every minute. But I do not know them. They never came into my life unfortunately. Heath came into our lives through TV and movie screens. I will miss him.
