because our president does not want us to feel it when our young servicemen and woman are killed in action,if we feel it we may protest it,there is a news blackout on the caskets coming home from war,if we don't see it we don't feel it as much,if there was a draft we would feel it and there would be protests so we don't have a draft and we send our youth over there 3 and 4 times,no other country has a blackout on their soldiers coming home in bodybags,just my opinion,love the troops,if you are not behind them you should stand in front of them.

80. #5. There's no reason fans can't plan their own memorial if they feel they need. It shouldn't be up to a grieving family to make sure that strangers get "closure." Kudos for them for not letting his passing and funeral turn into a tacky media event like so many we've seen recently.

somebody on page one or two had a idea about a memorial,i don't think a lot of people think they can go ahead a plan a memorial for any one person be it a friend,family...when john lennon died we had a memorial in our home town,we just put a message in the paper and the local radio station announced it.people came from 3 towns over it was great.

1/26/2008: CHRISTIAN Brando has died, AS FIRST REPORTED BY the National LEDGER, of pneumonia. Yep, nothing strange going on at all.

84. When I heard about Heath's death, i couldn't believe it. I was in complete shock. I got to thinking about his daughter and how she will never know her dad. It's sad. He was so hot, had one of the best smiles and sexiest accent I have ever seen and heard on a man. What a loss of man. Well, i guess he is in a better place right know, looking down on everybody and probably happy to know that he was loved very much. R.I.P Heath Ledger. You will be missed and loved forever. Long Live "The Master Fornicator". (As Heath was known in "Casanova") We will miss you, Mate!

My response: She was his maid and like all maids was likely given strict instructions by Heath that he was not to be disturbed. The same instructions I give my family after jet lag and exhaustion after business trips. If my family awkened me every time they saw me sleeping with my face in the pillow; I wouldn't get any sleep!!! Heath had just returned from London and was catching up on sleep. Nothing unusual or suspicious about that; especially considering his healthy age.

87. So very sad. I think that if it were my son I would want a private funeral as well. I wouldn't want all of the world to see and experience my grieving. It is just so sad that someone as young as he was taken from this world so soon. Unfortunately this happens everyday. There was another young actor who died recently , drugs related I believe. There was little coverage on his death though.

90. heath was a great actor as i am sure he was a great son brother and a father and he will truely be missed.everyone wants to talk about who he has been with so what that was his choosing just like we choose who we went to be with good or bad. i just lost my mother ago so i know how his family is feeling.i jujst hope that his daughter will still beable to have a relationship with his family in though their are so far away.
