And she WAS talking on a cellular phone while doing so.
Whether on the phone or not, she drives under the same laws of the road that everyone else does- laws which do not allow for passing traffic the way she did. I have NO SYMPATHY for the woman, and she should bear the same responsibility everyone should- shame.
She is not relevant any more. And her husband? He married her AFTER she did this unspeakable crime- so he doesn't get my sympathy either.
This post just makes me sad for the young boy's family... He is gone while she's still a "celebrity."

59. for all you DUMBASS posters who feel "sorry" for "ppor" Rebecca Gayheart, who KILLED a little boy, remember WHY he died; Rebecca thought she was too important to WAIT for this little boy to cross the street and swerved around the waiting cars into a left hand only turn lane WHILE TALKING ON HER CELL PHONE!! and struck and killed him. It was no "awful" mistake. What is awful is that because of her fame, she wasn't charged with murder and put away for life. It's a good thing she doesn't live in MY neighborhood! And TMZ, you low-lives make a mockery of her "car troubles". What losers you are!
