She visits some psychiatrist for an hour (in the shrinks home no less) and all of a sudden we should care about her so called psychiatric issues. It is not professional for ANY psychiatrist to invite ANY patient to their home. Have mommy accompany you to to France Britney and STFU- seriously GO AWAY. No one - not even the View cares anymore because you are such a media whore among many other things! Get yourself help out of the limelight. And get some real help by real professionals- meaning don't pay for them to tell you what you want to hear. It won't do you any good.

34. I am just curious as to why Sam would call Barbara to begin with. What in the world does Barbara have to do with Britney Spears anyhow? Maybe he did or didn't call Barbara, but it seems a little odd that he would call her and tell her that Britney is seeking help. Something just does not add up on this.

35. "seen a psychiatrist" is pretty vague---she could be simply referring to visiting with one at a party, or Dr. Phil, or anything. The proof is in the pudding, and nothing she is doing or has done seems to be helping. She needs fulltime professional help. And to get away from the cameras.

Seems to me, she “shopped” around to find the perfect doc to write her some prescriptions.

Exactly, there is no way a diagnosis can be made in 1 hour. The only thing that could be completely obvious is if she is in full blown psychosis. But even at that, it could be caused by a number of things, not all of which are psychological.

Barbara is an a**hole, and I'll tell you why. Last week on The View, they were talking about Heath Ledgers death. And one of them had mentioned about the fans standing out front of the hotel where he had been staying. 42. Ooooohhh... SLUTney has "visited" a psychiatrist. Does that mean that little miss crazy pants (or, little miss missing pants & flashing snatch) said hello, or ran into someone on the street, or has a friend who's a psychiatrist? Also, no psychiatrist could be able to diagnose a dumbass like SLUTney, even if she was psychotic, right then & there. So, this story smacks of BS, spin & lies. Coming from a psychotic stalker (who has 3 restraining orders against him), who likes to look at pictures of naked men (one of his restraining orders is from a guy who lufti got pissed at & e-mailed naked pictures of the guy to the guy's family; yuck), that's hardly something worth believing...

45. Most pychiatrists/pychologists/social workers do an hour interview called an Intake, where they get basic information about the patient. Many work at private practices in their own homes. After the Intake process, then they set up a schedule to see the patient on a regular basis to work on the pyscological issues. Britney may have been given a list of psychicatrists she could choose from and she picked one that did not work in a hospital or large office building because she was probably wary they someone would try to drag her into a mental institution.
